Պատմությունը հուշում է, որ ամենավտանգավորները միջակություններն են։ Օրինակ, 1920-ականների վերջին, երբ ընթանում էր Տրոցկի-Ստալին հակամարտությունը, Տրոցկուն հիշեցրեցին, որ Ստալինը վտանգավոր է։ Տրոցկին ընդամենը քմծիծաղել է կովկասցի միջակության վրա, պնդելով, որ մեկ ելույթով կոչնչացնի նրան։

Իհարկե, Սերժ Սարգսյանը Տրոցկի չէ։ Ոչ էլ՝ Ստալին։ Անգամ Վիգեն Սարգսյանը որևէ աղերս չունի այս երկուսի հետ։ Կարեն Կարապետյանը շարմ ունի, բայց Տրոցկուն չի ձգում։ Գրագիտության և հռետորության պակաս կա։

Ինչու՞ հիշեցինք այս պատմական փոքրիկ դրվագը։ Պատճառը Վիգեն Սարգսյանն է և նրա տված պատասխանները։ Նախարարը թերևս փորձել է արևմտյան դիվանագիտության սկզբունքներով ինչ-որ բան հասկացնել, որը նրա մոտ ստացվել է որպես խուճուճ մտքերի ժողովածու։ Այնուամենայնիվ, փորձենք այն վերծանել։

«Բոլոր դեպքերում՝ այն թիմը, այն մարդիկ, ովքեր ունեն խորհրդարանական մեծամասնության վստահությունը, որոնք ձեւավորել են այդ մեծամասնությունը խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների ժամանակ առաջնորդելով կուսակցությունը, առաջնորդելով նախընտրական գործընթացը, պետք է կրեն հանրային պատասխանատվություն այդ մեծամասնության կայացրած որոշումների եւ դրանց իրականացման որակի նկատմամբ: Այսինքն՝ հնարավոր չէ պատկերացնել մի իրավիճակ, երբ կա մեծամասնություն, որի իրական ազդեցության կենտրոնները դուրս են այն սխեմայից, որը ձեւավորվում է ընտրությունների արդյունքում, կամ այդ խորհրդարանի կողմից ձեւավորվող հանրային պաշտոններում»:

Ինչպես գիտենք, ՀՀԿ նախընտրական քարոզարշավի ժամանակ, Սերժ Սարգսյանն առաջին պլանում չէր գործում։ Նա այդ գիծ էր մղել Վիգեն Սարգսյանին, Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանին, Կարեն Կարապետյանին։ Կարապետյան-Սարգսյան հակամարտությանը սկզբում լուրջ չէինք վերաբերվում, սակայն կարծես, այն թափ է հավաքում ապրիլին ընդառաջ։ 

Այս առումով, Վիգեն Սարգսյանի հայտարարությունը կարելի դիտարկել բազմաշերտ, իսկ Սերժ Սարգսյանին չէր խանգարի, որպեսզի նա ուշադիր կարդար այս միտքը։ Սակայն չենք բացառում նաև այն, որ Վիգեն Սարգսյանը փորձել է խելացի միտք արտահայտել, սակայն ստացվել է հակառակը։
