1. Դիմահարդարումը մաքրելիս, աչքերը չտրորել, մաշկը չձգել: Աչքերի դիմահարդարումը մաքրելու համար նախատեսված միջոցից մի փոքր կաթեցնել բամբակե սկավառկի վրա, դնել աչքերի և թարթիչների վրա 30 վայրկյան, ներկված կոպերն ու թարթիչները հեշտությամբ կմաքրվեն:

Քնելուց առաջ անհրաժեշտ է մաքրել ներկված թարթիչները: Դրանց խտությունն ու երկարությունը պայմանավորված են գենետիկորեն, սակայն թարթիչների արտաքին տեսքը կարելի է բարելավել կաստորայի յուղի միջոցով, անհրաժեշտ է այն քսել թարթիչներին այնպես, որ աչքերի մեջ չներթափանցվի, թողնել 1 ժամ: Կարելի է օգտագործել նաև թարթիչների աճը խթանող հատուկ շիճուկներ: Որպիսի արդյունքը նկատելի լինի, անհրաժեշտ է 2-3 շաբաթ, ամեն օր օգտագործել նշված միջոցներից որևէ մեկը, այնուհետև մի որոշ ժամանակ օգտագործել շաբաթական 2-3 անգամ: Թարթիչների աճը խթանող միջոցների դադարեցումից մոտ 2-3 շաբաթ հետո թարթիչները նախկին երկարությունն ու խտությունը կունենան:
