Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում  գրում է.

Հայաստանի ժուռնալիստների միության նախագահ Սաթիկ Սեյրանյանի հետ քննարկել ենք քաղաքապետարանի շենքի պահպանության և անցագրային կարգը կանոնակարգելու վերաբերյալ իմ կողմից տրված հանձնարարականի վերաբերյալ լրագրողների մտահոգությունները.

Կարևորում եմ մեր այս հանդիպումը, քանի որ իմ հանձնարարականից հետո, կարծես, թյուրըմբռնում եղավ լրատվամիջոցների և լրագրողական կազմակերպությունների շրջանում: Որոշ լրատվամիջոցներ դա մեկնաբանեցին որպես իրենց գործունեության սահմանափակում, հատկապես ավագանու վերջին նիստում տեղի ունեցածից հետո: 

Անկեղծ լինեմ, վերջին օրերի դեպքերը մեզ ստիպեցին նորովի կազմակերպել լրագրողների և քաղաքապետարանի համագործակցության ձևաչափը, ինչը սակայն ոչ միայն չի՛ խաթարելու թափանցիկության ապահովումը, այլև առավել արդյունավետ է դարձնելու քաղաքապետարանի և ԶԼՄ-ների համագործակցությունը:

Ի դեպ, եթե նկատել եք, իմ հանձնարարականը վերաբերում էր առհասարակ քաղաքապետարանի անցագրային կարգին, շենքի պահպանության հարցերին, ինչպես նաև քաղաքապետարանի և լրագրողների աշխատանքի կանոնակարգմանը:

Ինչ վերաբերվում է փետրվարի 19-ին գրանցված միջադեպին, նշեմ, որ քաղաքապետարանի շենքը ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից սահմանված պետական պահպանության ենթակա տարածքների ցանկում է և, ըստ այդմ, տվյալ դեպքում չէր պահպանվել շենք մտնելու գոյություն ունեցող կարգը, ընդ որում, ոչ լրատվամիջոցների մեղքով: Սա հաշվի առնելով էլ լրատվական ծառայության պետը տեղում հայցել էր ներկա լրագրողների ներողամտությունը:

Մենք գնահատում և չափազանց կարևորում ենք լրագրողների աշխատանքը. որոշ դեպքերում հենց նաև նրանց օգնությամբ են վերհանվում որոշակի խնդիրներ, ինչը, միանշանակ, անհրաժեշտ աջակցություն է քաղաքային իշխանությունների համար:

Մենք հաշվետու ենք մեր համաքաղաքացիների առջև: Երևանի ավագանին էլ ընտրովի մարմին է, ու մենք պատասխանատու ենք նաև մեր ընտրողների առջև: 

Միաժամանակ, ցավում եմ, որ մեր համաքաղաքացիները ստիպված եղան ականատեսը դառնալ Երևանի ավագանու վերջին նիստում գրանցված տհաճ միջադեպի, ինչը հարիր չէր Երևան քաղաքի կառավարման բարձրագույն մարմնին։
