Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Կառավարության ղեկավարը ծանոթացել է էլեկտրագնացքի պայմաններին, հնարավորություններին և ողջունել այն Հայաստանում շահագործելու «Հարավկովկասյան երկաթուղի» ՓԲԸ-ի որոշումը:

Էլեկտրագնացքը ՓԲԸ-ի կողմից գնվել է վերջերս՝ ռուսական «Տրանսմաշխոլդինգ» արտադրող ընկերությունից:
Կարեն Կարապետյանին տեղեկացվել է, որ մարտի 4-ից նոր էլեկտրագնացքը կաշխատի ուրբաթ-կիրակի օրերին էքսպրեսի ռեժիմով՝ առանց բաժանիչ կանգառների, օրը 2 անգամ՝ ժամը 10:00-ին մեկնելով Երևանից Գյումրի և 16:55-ին վերադառնալով մայրաքաղաք: Երթևեկության տևողությունը կազմում է 1 ժամ 59 րոպե:
