Հետախուզման մեջ գտնվող ԱՄՆ քաղաքացին հայտնաբերվել է Հայաստանում և հանձնվել Միացյալ Նահանգներին

Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից հետախուզվող անձի արագ հայտնաբերումը, ձերբակալումն ու հանձնումը հնարավոր եղավ ապահովել ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազության և ՀՀ իրավապահ մարմինների աշխատակիցների հետ ԱՄՆ իրավասու մարմինների սերտ համագործակցության արդյունքում: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանությունից:

Ինտերպոլի ուղիներով հետախուզվող ԱՄՆ քաղաքացին ՀՀ իրավապահ մարմինների աշխատակիցների կողմից ձերբակալվել է 2017թ. դեկտեմբերին՝ Երևանում։ Մեկ տարի առաջ այդ անձին ԱՄՆ-ում մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել երեխայի նկատմամբ երեք դրվագով սեռական բնույթի արարք կատարելու  համար։ Նախքան դատական քննությունը գտնվելով ազատության մեջ հսկողության ներքո՝ տվյալ անձը փախուստի է դիմել՝ ԱՄՆ-ից գալով ՀՀ, ինչի կապակցությամբ հայտարարվել է միջազգային հետախուզում։ ԱՄՆ Պետական դեպարտամենտի, Վաշինգտոնում և ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանության Դիվանագիտական անվտանգության ծառայության գործակալների և ՀՀ իրավապահ մարմինների համագործակցության արդյունքում վերջինների կողմից հետախուզվողն արագ հայտնաբերվել ու ձերբակալվել է: ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազությունը, ԱՄՆ արդարադատության դեպարտամենտը, ԱՄՆ մարշալի ծառայության միջազգային քննության մասնաճյուղը և ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանությունը սերտորեն համագործակցել են հանձնման գործընթացում։

Այս առնչությամբ ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազ Արթուր Դավթյանը և ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլս Կրտսերը հանդես են եկել հայտարարությամբ:

«Միջազգային հետախուզման մեջ գտնվող անձինք հաճախ լուրջ սպառնալիք են ներկայացնում հանրության անվտանգությանը», – ասաց ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլս Կրտսերը։ «Մենք գնահատում ենք ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազության և ՀՀ իրավապահ մարմինների աշխատակիցների  հետ սերտ համագործակցությունը՝ անձին այդքան արագ հայտնաբերելու, ձերբակալելու և հանձնելու ուղղությամբ ցուցաբերված աջակցության հարցում»։

Իր հերթին ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազ Արթուր Դավթյանը նշել է, որ «Բարձր ենք գնահատում ԱՄՆ իրավասու մարմինների հետ արդեն տասնամյակների պատմություն ունեցող մեր համագործակցությունը և դրա ապահովման գործում ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանության  գործուն աջակցությունը»: Նա նաև հավելել է, որ  «Համագործակցության այս օրինակը վառ ապացույցն է նրա, որ ժամանակն ու տարածությունը խոչընդոտ չեն կատարած հանցանքի համար պատասխանատվության անխուսափելիության սկզբունքի կենսագործման համար և հանցանք կատարած յուրաքանչյուր ոք վաղ թե ուշ, որտեղ էլ  գտնվի, առերեսվելու է արդարադատությանը»:

Հետախուզվողը կկանգնի ԱՄՆ դատարանի առաջ։ Մեղադրյալը համարվում է անմեղ, քանի դեռ նրա մեղավորությունը հիմնավոր կասկածից վեր չափանիշով չի հաստատվել դատարանի կողմից։
