Եվրամիությունը հավանության է արժանացրել Թուրքիայի կողմից իրենց հղված 7 կետից բաղկացած փաթեթը։ Այն ներառում այն պայմանները, որոնք պատրաստ են կատարել Թուրքիայի իշխանություններն իրենց քաղաքացիների համար վիզային ռեժիմի չեղարկման դեպքում։ Այս մասին գրում է diken.com.tr-ը՝ հղում անելով իր աղբյուրին։

Ըստ մամուլի հրապարակումների՝ ԵՄ-ն պատրաստ է համաձայնության գալ Թուրքիայի հետ առկա առաջարկների շուրջ, ինչի արդյունքում մինչև աշուն Թուրքիայում կարող են ազատ արձակվել բանտերում գտնվող բազմաթիվ տեղացի ու արտասահմանցի լրագրողներ:

Թուրքիայի կողմից ներկայացված առաջարկների փաթեթում առանցքային է համարվում մամուլի ազատությանն ու լրագրողների աշխատանքը խոչընդոտող հանգամանքների նվազեցման հետ կապված փոփոխությունը, ըստ որի՝ քննադատական մոտեցմամբ, սակայն լրագրողական էթիկայի սահմաններում տեղավորվող որևէ գործողություն չի կարող համարվել հանցանք՝ դատարանի կողմից օգտագործվելով ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի շրջանակում:

Բացի այդ՝ Թուրքիան պատրաստակամություն էր հայտնում նոր քայլեր ձեռնարկել կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարում՝ հիմնվելով Եվրոպայի խորհրդի կողմից հիմնված GRECO կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի պետությունների խմբի որդեգրած սկզբունքների վրա, ինչպես նաև պարտադիր կդարձնի կենսաչափական անձնագրերը: Թուրքիան նաև հայտարարել է Եվրոպոլի՝ ԵՄ ոստիկանության հետ աշխատելու պատրաստակամության մասին:

Թուրքիայի քաղաքացիների համար վիզային ռեժիմի ազատականացման համար անհրաժեշտ 72 պայմաններից Թուրքիան մինչ օրս կատարել է 65-ը:
