Հայաստանն արդեն հասել է «Կայուն զարգացման 2030 օրակարգում» ներառված կայուն զարգացման  նպատակներից մեկին: Էականորեն նվազել է հատկապես մայրական մահացության ցուցանիշը: 

Առողջապահության համաշխարհային օրվան՝ ապրիլի 7-ին ընդառաջ լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նման կարծիք հայտնեց Համաշխարհային բանկի ներկայացուցիչ Լիրե Էրսադոն:

«Մենք ուրախ ենք, որ Հայաստանի ձեռքբերումներում մեր փոքր մասնաբաժինն ենք ունեցել: Առանցքային բարեփոխումներ են տեղի ունեցել առողջության առաջնային պահպանման օղակում: Հնարավորություն է ընձեռվել բարձրացնել նաև մատուցվող ծառայությունների որակը: Հայաստանը հասել է արդեն կայուն զարգացման նպատակներից մեկին՝ մահացության, հատկապես մայրական մակարդակի նվազմանը: Եվ դա համեմատելի է զարգացած երկրների ցուցանիշների հետ»,-ասաց էրսադոն:

Նա առանձնացրեց նաև մի շարք ձեռքբերումներ, որոնք կարևոր են հետագա աշխատանքների համար: Առաջինը՝մարդկանց ֆինանասական աջակցությունն է առողջապահական ծախսերի մեծ ազդեցությունից: «Կարևոր է պետական պատվերի առկայությունը, որը հիմնականում ուղղված է սոցիալապես անապահով անձանց: Ծայրահեղ աղքատները վճարումներ չեն կատարում, քանի որ դրանք ֆինանսավորվում են պետպատվերի շրջանակում: Եթե կան խոցելի խմբեր, որոնք դուրս եմ մնացել, անպայման ևս կընդգրկվեն»,-նշեց նա:

Լիրե Էրսադոն խոսեց նաև համակարգում նկատած բացերի և մարտահրավերների մասին: Սոցիալապես անապահովներն օգտվում են պետպատվերով բժշկական ծառայություններից, սակայն, ցավոք, այն չի ապահովում առողջապահական ծառայությունների ամբողջական ծածկույթ: Համաշխարհային բանկի ներկայացուցիչը նաև ծառայությունների մատուցման բարելավմանն ուղղված աշխատանքների անհրաժեշտություն տեսավ: Առողջապահական ծառայությունների համար մարդիկ հիմնականում վճարում են իրենց գրպանից: Թեև գործում է նաև պետպատվերի համակարգը, սակայն մարդու գրպանից կատարվող վճարումները Հայաստանում մնում են բավականին բարձր: «Կարծում եմ՝ պետք է ուշադրություն դարձվի առողջապահության բյուջեի մեծացմանը, ինչն էլ կնպաստի ոչ միայն մարդկանց գրպանից վճարումների կրճատմանը, այլ նաև մի շարք առողջապահական խնդիրների լուծմանը»-եզրափակեց Էրսադոն:

2016 թվականի հունվարի 1-ից պաշտոնապես ուժի մեջ են մտել ՄԱԿ-ի «Կայուն զարգացման 2030 օրակարգում» ներառված կայուն զարգացման 17 նպատակները՝ ընդունվածաշխարհի երկրների առաջնորդների կողմից:  Դրանով երկրները համախմբում են իրենց ջանքերը՝ վերացնելու մի շարք գլոբալ խնդիրներ:
