Ազգային Ժողովի «Ելք» խմբակցությունը միաձայն քվեարկել է վարչապետի պաշտոնում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի թեկնածությունը առաջադրելու օգտին: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ապրիլի 30-ին խորհրդարանում «Ելք» խմբակցության նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում այս մասին հայտնեց խմբակցության պատգամավոր Արարատ Միրզոյանը:

Նա տեղեկացրեց, որ առաջիկա ժամերին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հանդիպումներ կունենա խորհրդարանական մյուս խմբակցությունների հետ:

Անդրադառնալով հարցին, թե ինչպես է հաջողվելու ստանալ մեծամասնություն կազմող ՀՀԿ-ի ձայները, Արարատ Միրզոյանը նշեց, որ այդ պատասխանները կտրվի  ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավորների հետ հանդիպումից հետո: Նա վստահություն հայտնեց, որ այդ հարցում իրենք որևէ խնդիր չեն ունենա: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ պետության շահի համար ցանկացած ոք պետք է քվեարկի Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի օգտին»,- ասաց պատգամավորը:

Անդրադառնալով քննարկումներին, թե հանրահավաքների ժամանակ ծրագրային ելույթներ չեն հնչում, Արարատ Միրզոյանը շեշտեց, որ կառավարությունը, որը պետք է ձևավորվի մայիսի 1-ին կայանալիք վարչապետի ընտրությունից հետո, այն լինելու է ժամանակավոր և ընտրվելու դեպքում Փաշինյանի խնդիրն է լինելու օրենսդրական փոփոխությունների միջոցով երաշխավորել ազատ, արդար և թափանցիկ ընտրությունների անցկացումը:

Ազգային ժողովի մյուս երեք խմբակցությունները՝ ՀՀԿ, «Ծառուկյան» և ՀՅԴ հայտարարել են թեկնածու չառաջադրելու մասին:
