Ազգային ժողովում մեկնարկեց խորհրդարանական հերթական քառօրյան, որի սկզբին ՀԱԿ խմբակցության ղեկավար Լևոն Զուրաբյանն ասաց, որ 44 և ավել ձայներով ընդդիմությունն արտահերթ քննարկման է ներկայացրել երկու նախագիծ: Մեկը' երկրում առաջացած կառավարման ճգմաժամին է վերաբերում, իսկ մյուսը՝ Ընտրական օրենսգիրքը փոփոխելուն:

 «Ընդդիմության արտահերթ քննարկման ներկայացրած երկու նախագծերն այդպես էլ չեն քննարկվել»,- ասաց պատգամավորը՝ մեղադրելով Գալուստ Սահակյանին կառավարության ներկայացրած նախագծերին նախապատվություն տալու և իրենց ներկայացրած հարցի քննարկումից խուսափելու մեջ:

Պատասխանելով Լևոն Զուրաբյանին՝ Գալուստ Սահակյանն ասաց, որ ինքը ղեկավարվում է Ազգային ժողովի կանոնակարգ օրենքով և չի խախտել այն: Նա ընդգծեց, որ արտահերթ կարգով կքննարկվեն թե՛ կառավարության, թե՛ ընդդիմության ներկայացրած նախագծերը:

«Երանի ընդդիմությունն այնքան ուժեղ լիներ, որ մենք խուսափեինք նրանից»,- հավելեց Գալուստ Սահակյանը:

«Փաստորեն, ստացվում է, որ դուք հետաձգում եք ընդդիմության ներկայացրած նախագծերի քննարկումը, մինչդեռ երկրում իսկապես առաջացել է կառավարման խորը ճգնաժամ: Ժողովրդական մեծ ընդվզում կա, որը վկայում են բազմահազարանոց հանրահավաքները»,- Գալուստ Սահակյանի խոսքին արձագանքեց Լևոն Զուրաբյանը և հավելեց, որ իշխանությունները խուսափում են ժողովրդի կողմից բարձրացված հարցերի քննարկումներից և ժողովրդին զրկում են խոսքի իրավունքից:
