Նրա աչքերի սեւ բիբերի մեջ գիշերվա նման ծվարած վախ կար:Երբ օրը մթնում էր,նա հեռանում էր բակից՝ մտնելով իր վարձակալած նկուղային խուցն ու փակվում այնտեղ:
Երբ նրան հարցնում էին,թե ով է նա ազգությամբ՝ հաճախակի փոփոխվում էին նրա պատասխանները,ինչպես մարտ ամսվա օրն իր եղանակային տրամադրությամբ:
Նա շատ լավ տարբերում էր քրիստոնյային՝ մահմեդականի՛ց,իսկ նրան տեսնելը բակի տղամարդկանց շրջապատում զրուցելիս՝ նու՛յնն էր,ինչպես ձյան մեջ ծաղկած մանուշակին:Կհավատա՜ք...Ես էլ չէի հավատում իմ աչքերին,երբ մի անգամ նա բանավիճում էր ամենատարեց հարեւանի հետ,թե աշխարհում բոլոր ազգերը միմյանց քույր ու եղբայր են,փաստելով Ադամին՝ որպես նախահա՛յր:
Նա չէր սիրում խոսել իր մասին,միայն ասում էր,որ նա անտեր է:Մի թե աշխարհում անտեր է մարդը,երբ տղամարդ է:
Ընդամենը տասներեք տարեկան հասակում փախչել էր տանից ու հասել այնտեղ,որտեղ նրան կիսագրագետ ծնողները չէին կարող գտնել:Էժան աշխատուժով վաստակում էր իր օրվա հացը,սնվում էր կիսաքաղցությամբ՝ խնայելո՛վ ամեն մի ռուբլին:
Նրա միակ տաբատը,ինչը ձեռքով լվացվում եւ փռվում էր չորանալու,իր մաշվածությամբ չէր զիջում ջնջոցին:Վերնաշապիկի թեւերը ձմռանը երկարում,ամռանը ծալված դառնում էին կարճաթեւ:Նա չէր հիշում,թե վերջին անգամ երբ է կերել տաք ճաշ կամ խմել կոմպոտ:
Այսպես նա ապրում էր,մինչ իմ նրան հայկական հարիսա հյուրասիրելը:
Նա կուչ էր եկել խոհանոցի աթոռի վրա ու գդալը դողում էր նրա մատների մեջ:
-Կե՛ր,առանց ամաչելու օգտվիր:Երբ մարդը ճաշում է,նա պետք է զգա կերակուրի համը:
-Համե՛ղ է,-պատասխանելով սեւ բիբերը հառեց դեմքիս:
Իմ բջջային հեռախոսը ստացավ հաղորդագրություն ու հնչեց ձայնային ազդանշանը՝ «Հայաստան»:
Դա լավ պատրվակ էր խոհանոցում նրան մենակ թողնելու համար:
Երբ որոշ ժամանակ անց ես վերադարձա,նա ծնկել էր հատակի կարպետին եւ աղոթում էր:
Ինձ տեսնելով այնպես ցատկեց իր տեղից,որ կողքին դրված աթոռը շրջվեց:
-Գիտեմ,որ դու թալիշ ես,այդպես չէ,-հարցրեցի նրան պարզապես մի բան խոսելու համար:
-Ո՛չ,ես ադրբեջանցի եմ,-պատասխանեց նա:
-Իսկ ինչու՜ ես խաբում մարդկանց:
-Ամաչու՛մ եմ,-պատասխանեց նա:
Տիրող լռությունը տարածվեց խոհանոցում,ես նայում էի նրա սեւաբորբ աչքերի մեջ ու արյունս եռաց:
-Չսպանե՜ս ինձ,-նրա ձայնը դողաց:
Չէի զգացել,թե երբ էր խոհանոցային դանակն հայտնվել իմ ձեռքում:
-Հայը չի՛ սպանում,հայը քրիստոնյա է:Դու իմ օջախի հացն ես կիսել,իսկ հիմա գնա՛:
Նա իր հասակով խոնարհվեց իմ ոտքերի մոտ,ինչպես,որ ես եմ խոնարհվում աղոթելիս...
Թե նա ինչպես հեռացավ իմ տանից,երբ բակում շունս անծանոթների ելքը սահմանափակում է մինչ իմ հրամանը,որ օտար չէ մարդը...Դուրս գալով տանից,նա ցատկել էր պարսպի վրայով:
Մի քանի ամիս էր անցել այս դեպքից,երբ դարպասի հնչող զանգից դուրս եկա տան բակ:
Նա էր:
-Ես հեռանում եմ այս քաղաքից:Գնում եմ,բայց չգիտեմ թե ուր,-խոսեց նա:
-Գնա՛,Աստված քո հետ,-պատասխանելով նրան՝ շրջվեցի դեպի տուն:
-Խնդրու՛մ եմ,այս ծրարը վերցրեք,-նրա ձայնը աղերսող հնչյուններով տարածվեց բակում:
Երբ տուն մտա,ծրարի մեջ տեղավորված տետրի էջը վայր ընկավ ցած:Չէր սոսնձել...
Կան բաներ,որ կարդու՛մ ես չհասկանալով:Կարդում ես նորից,որ հասկանա՜ս մարդուն:
Նրա ձեռագիրը տողերից կախվել էր,ինչպես,որ մի ժամանակ նրա տաբատն էր կախվում չորանալու:
Նա հեռացավ իր հետ տանելով այն ամոթը,որ նրա հայրն էր թողել իր հիշողության մեջ:
Նրա հայրը իր զինակոչ ընկերոջ հետ,երբ տարիներ անց հանդիպել էին ու մանկահասակ Ադիլը նրանց տեսել էր քաղաքային բաղնիսում:
Այսպես նրանցից շատերը,ովքեր կասպյան ծովածոցից փախչելով՝ փորձում են գտնել փրկությու՛ն...
