ՀՀ Տարածքային կառավարման և զարգացման նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը հունիսի 4-ին Շիրակի մարզպետարանի աշխատակիցներին, հանրապետական գործադիր մարմինների տարածքային կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներին և համայնքների ղեկավարներին ներկայացրեց նորանշանակ մարզպետ Կարեն Սարուխանյանին։

Նախարարը, մինչ նորանշանակ մարզպետին ներկայացնելը, անդրադառնալով մի շարք կարևոր խնդիրների, ընդգծեց, որ իշխանությունների առջև ծառացել են նոր մարտահրավերներ, և յուրաքանչյուրի խնդիրն է գիտակցել պահի լրջությունը:

«Վերջին իրադարձություններից հետո, Հայաստանում ստեղծված իրավիճակը մեր պետականության համար նոր էջ բացելու հնարավորություն է տվել, և այս պատասխանատու փուլում կարևոր է յուրաքանչյուրիս գիտակից գործունեությունը: Բազմիցս խոսվել է Հայաստան ժողովրդավարություն բերելու մասին, բայց դա միայն եղել է թղթի վրա, ոչ մի գործնական քայլ: Մեր կառավարությունը պատրաստ է լծվել այս կարևոր գործին, բայց այստեղ պետք է նաև ՏԻՄ աջակցությունը: Այս համատեքստում կարևոր է ՏԻՄ գործունեության թափանցիկությունը»,- նշեց ՀՀ տարածքային կառավարման և զարգացման նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը՝ կարևորելով նաև երկրի համաչափ զարգացումը, ինչի համար անհրաժեշտ են օրենսդրական փոփոխություններ և պետական քաղաքականություն:

Ներկայացնելով առաջիկա խնդիրները՝ նախարարը նշեց, որ ձևավորվելու է համայնքներում օտարման ենթակա գույքի ու հողերի օն-լայն հարթակ: Սուրեն Պապիկյանը նաև ներկաների ուշադրությունը հրավիրեց վարչապետի կողմից տրված ուղերձին՝ բիզնես ծրագրերի փաթեթ ներկայացնելու կարևորությունը, ինչը հնարավորություն կտա ներդրումներ կատարելու ցանկություն ունեցողներին առաջարկել արդեն պատրաստի բիզնես ծրագրեր։ 
Նորանշանակ մարզպետ Կարեն Սարուխանյանն իր պատրաստակամությունը հայտնեց հարազատ լինել կառավարության որդեգրած քաղաքականությանը: «Հանդիսանալով Շիրակ աշխարհի ներկայացուցիչ, ծնունդով գյումրեցի, վստահեցնում եմ՝ ծառայելու եմ Շիրակի աշխարհի և ՀՀ հպարտ քաղաքացիներին»,-նշեց Կարեն Սարուխանյանը:
