2015 թվականին ամերիկուհի Միթչել Բլերը դատարանից ծանուցում ստացավ, որ վարձակալած բնակարանի վարձը երկար ժամանակ չվճարելու պատճառով պարտավոր է լքել այն։ Դատական ակտի պահանջները չկատարելու համար օրեր անց նրա տուն այցելեցին ոստիկաններ, սակայն նա տանը չէր։ Նրանք ստիպված կոտրեցին դուռն ու սկսեցին դուրս հանել տան իրերը։ Երբ հերթը հասավ սառցախցիկին, ոստիկանները տարօրինակ բան նկատեցին։

Սառցախցիկում մահացած երեխայի դի կար։ Շտապ օգնության ժամանելուն պես պարզվեց, որ սառցախցիկում ոչ թե մեկ, այլ երկու երեխա կա՝ մեկ տղայի և մեկ աղջկա սառեցված դիակ։ Բոլորը ցնցված էին։ Ոստիկանները բացահայտեցին, որ սպանության հեղինակը նրանց մայրն է՝ Միթչել Բլերը, ով դատարանում խոստովանեց ողջ եղելությունը։

Ըստ նրա՝ տարիներ առաջ նա պարզել էր, որ իր ավագ որդին սեռական ոտնձգություններ է կատարել կրտսեր որդու նկատմամբ, ուստի նրան դաժանաբար այնքան է տանջել, որ նա մահացել է։ Որոշ ժամանակ անց էլ պարզել էր, որ իր ավագ դուստրն է կրտսեր քրոջ նկատմամբ սեռական ոտնձգություններ կատարել։ Գրեթե նույն սցենարով էլ մայրը տանջամահ էր արել իր ավագ դստերը։

«Բռնաբարությունը սարսափելի արարք է։ Ուրիշ ի՞նչ կերպ պետք է վարվեի։ Եթե հնարավորություն ունենայի, նորից նույնը կանեի նրանց հետ»,- դատարանում ասել է Միթչելը։

Դատաբժշկական փորձաքննությունները պարզել են, որ սպանված երեխաների դիակները սառցախցիկում են եղել առնվազն 2-3 տարի։ Այդ ընթացքում, ըստ Միթչելի, նա դպրոցին տեղեկացրել է, որ տանն անձամբ է զբաղվում երեխաների կրթությամբ, իսկ հարևանների և մյուսների հարցերին, թե ուր են երեխաները, նա միշտ մի պատճառաբանություն հորինել է։ Ի դեպ՝ ոչ մի ապացույց չկա, որ սպանված երեխաները սեռական ոտնձգություններ են կատարել իրենց կրտսեր եղբոր նկատմամբ։

Դատարանը կնոջը ցմահ ազատազրկման է դատապարտել։
