«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. «Վազգեն Սարգսյանի եղբայր Արամ Սարգսյանը «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի հետ զրույցում անդրադարձել է հոկտեմբերի 27-ի ոճրագործությանը` հայտարարելով, որ այդ գործի առնչությամբ երկու կարեւոր տեսաերիզներ կան, որոնք հավանաբար պահպանվում են վերջերս ձերբակալված պատգամավոր Մանվել Գրիգորյանի մոտ: «Հիշում եք՝ 1-2 տարի այդ տեսաերիզների մասին անընդհատ խոսվում էր, եւ խնդիրը գնում է 2 տեսաերիզի մասին։ Դրանցից մեկը վերաբերում է նախկին հեռուստապետկոմի Ալեքսան Հարությունյանի՝ ՊՆ-ում եղած ժամանակ կիսասթափ վիճակում արված հայտարարություններին, որի տեսաերիզը վստահ եմ` Մանվել Գրիգորյանն ունի, քանի որ այդ ժամանակ ինքն էր հիմնականում ամեն ինչի պատասխանատուն, եւ հենց իր հրահանգով է այդ տեսանյութն արվել։ Ես էլ եմ հարցնում՝ արդյոք գտաք, թե ոչ, այդ տեսաերիզը կա, թե ոչ եւ եթե կա, ապա որպես տուժողի իրավահաջորդ ես էլ կցանկանայի այդ տեսաերիզը տեսնել։ Կա նաեւ երկրորդ տեսաերիզի մասին տեղեկությունը, որը գերկարեւոր է։ Այդ տեսաերիզը կարող է բացել փակված կծիկը. դա Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի եւ գլխավոր ոճրագործի հանդիպումն է։ Ասել, որ նման տեսագրություն չկա, մեյմունություն է, որովհետեւ այդտեղ է եղել ռազմական ոստիկանությունը, հեռուստապետկոմը։ Ընդ որում` ինձ տեղեկություն է հասել, որ տեսաերիզը ոչ թե երկու, այլ երեք օրինակ է։ Այդ տեսաերիզում այդ հանդիպման ժամանակ եղել է ուղիղ խոսակցություն, եւ ոճրագործն իր ձեռքին ուներ թուղթ, որով պետք է իրեն վարչապետ նշանակեին։ Ամենայն հավանականությամբ հենց այդտեղ է գնացել խոսակցությունը՝ արել եմ, նշանակի»,- ասել է Արամ Սարգսյանը: Միաժամանակ, նա նշել է, թե հոկտեմբերի 27-ի հետ կապված գաղտնիքների բացահայտման ժամանակը հեղափոխության շրջանը չէ։ Բայց եւ նա հույս ունի, որ բազմաթիվ գործընթացներ կան թավշյա հեղափոխությունից, որոնք կարող են հոկտեմբերի 27-ի բացահայտման նոր հանգամանքեր հանդիսանալ, որից ելնելով՝ գործը վերաբացվի»։
