Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում հունիսի 28-ին ընդունեց Էջմիածնի քաղաքապետի պաշտոնակատար Դիանա Գասպարյանին:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից, Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը շնորհավորեց քաղաքապետի պաշտոնակատարին նշանակման առիթով` վստահություն հայտնելով, որ նա ազգանվեր ծառայությամբ իր ջանքերը կներդնի ի նպաստ քաղաքի բարեկարգման և կենսամակարդակի բարձրացման: 

Նորին Սրբությունն անդրադարձավ Մայր Աթոռի կողմից իրականացված նախաձեռնություններին, որոնց շնորհիվ քաղաքն ավելի ներկայանալի և գրավիչ է դարձել այցելուների համար, ինչպես նաև ներկայացրեց ապագա ծրագրերը: Այս առումով Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը կարևորեց գործակցությունը հայոց հոգևոր կենտրոնի և քաղաքապետարանի միջև:

Իր հերթին Դիանա Գասպարյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց Վեհափառ Հայրապետին ընդունելության և օրհնության համար` ուրախություն արտահայտելով Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի հետ իր առաջին հանդիպման կապակցությամբ: Քաղաքապետի պաշտոնակատարը նաև կարևորեց Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու՝ մասնավորապես Մայր Աթոռի կողմից իրականացվող սոցիալական, բարեգործական ու կրթական ծրագրերը: Վերջինս պատրաստակամություն հայտնեց էլ առավել սերտացնելու առկա համագործակցությունը՝ ներդրում ունենալով Մայր Աթոռի հայրենաշեն ծրագրերում: 
Զրույցի ընթացքում Գարեգին Բ Հայրապետը և Դիանա Գասպարյանն անդրադարձան Էջմիածին քաղաքի խնդիրների հաղթահարման ուղղությամբ ձեռնարկվող քայլերին։ 

Հանդիպմանը ներկա էր Մայր Աթոռի Վարչատնտեսական բաժնի տնօրեն Գերաշնորհ Տ. Մուշեղ եպիսկոպոս Բաբայանը:
