Ադրբեջանի սպառազինումը և փորձը՝  ներքաշել հայկական կողմին սպառազինությունների մրցավազքի մեջ, չի կարող չանհանգստացնել ոչ միայն Հայաստանին, այլ ողջ միջազգային հանրությանը, քանի որ այն վտանգում է ամբողջ տարածաշրջանի կայունությունը: Այս մասին հայտարարեց ՀՀ զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի պետ, գեներալ-մայոր Արտակ Դավթյանը՝ «Արմենպրես»-ին տված բացառիկ մեկնաբանության մեջ:

«Միամտություն կլիներ կարծել, թե Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության նախարարությունն Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերի զինանոցի համալրման մասին տեղեկությունները հայթայթում է Բաքվի կազմակերպած զորահանդեսներից։ Բնականաբար՝ մենք գիտենք ինչ զինատեսակներ ունի հակառակորդը, սպառազինության որ տեսակների վրա է կատարում հիմնական շեշտադրումները, ինչ է փորձում ձեռք բերել և այլն։ Իհարկե՝ Ադրբեջանի սպառազինումը և փորձը՝  ներքաշել մեզ այդ մրցավազքի մեջ, չի կարող չանհանգստացնել, ընդ որում՝ ոչ միայն մեզ, այլև ամբողջ միջազգային հանրությանը, քանի որ այն վտանգում է ամբողջ տարածաշրջանի կայունությունը, առավել ևս՝ Ադրբեջանի ներկայիս ղեկավարության պարագայում, որը հայտնի է իր ռազմատենչ հռետորաբանությամբ։ Վստահեցնում եմ մեր քաղաքացիներին, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերն ունեն բավարար միջոցներ իրենց վրա դրված խնդիրները արդյունավետ իրականացնելու համար։ Ավելին. մենք գործուն քայլեր ենք ձեռնարկում սպառազինության առումով որակական առավելություն ձեռք բերելու ուղղությամբ՝ նաև զարկ տալով սեփական ռազմարդյունաբերության զարգացմանը։ Մեր հասարակությունը պարբերաբար առիթներ կունենա համոզվելու դրանում։ Նշված խնդիրը գտնվում է պետության ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարության ուշադրության և ամենօրյա վերահսկողության ներքո։ Զորահանդես անցկացնելը և մարտական խնդիր կատարելը տարբեր միջոցառումներ են և դրա ամենավառ ապացույցն ավելի քան երկու տասնամյակ Բաքվում կայացող «շքեղ» զորահանդեսներն են, դրան զուգահեռ՝ օպերատիվ և ռազմավարական պարտությունները»,-նշեց Արտակ Դավթյանը:
