ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների անկախության օրվա առթիվ  այցելել է Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանություն:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ՀՀ կառավարության և հայ ժողովրդի անունից շնորհավորել է դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսին, դեսպանատան աշխատակիցներին և ի դեմս նրանց՝ Միացյալ Նահանգների բարեկամ ժողովրդին՝ մաղթելով բարեկեցություն ու շարունակական զարգացում:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ԱՄՆ դեսպանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ՀՀ վարչապետին այցելության և շնորհավորանքի համար: «Մեզ համար պատիվ է այս գեղեցիկ օրը, երբ տոնում ենք մեր անկախությունը, Ձեզ ընդունել ԱՄՆ դեսպանատանը: Հայաստանը Միացյալ Նահանգների լավ բարեկամն ու գործընկերն է, և ես սպասում եմ մեր շարունակական համագործակցությանը՝ մեր ընդհանուր ժողովրդավարական արժեքների ոգուն համահունչ»,- ասել է Ռիչարդ Միլսը:

Հանրապետության վարչապետը բարձր է գնահատել ԱՄՆ-ի հետ ձևավորված սերտ համագործակցությունը:  «ՀՀ կառավարությունը կարևոր է համարում Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ ակտիվ երկխոսությունն ու համագործակցությունը փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող բոլոր բնագավառներում: Պատրաստ ենք համատեղ ջանքերով նոր ազդակ հաղորդել երկկողմ փոխգործակցությանը, այդ թվում՝ առևտրատնտեսական կապերի ընդլայնման նպատակով»,- նշել է վարչապետը՝ շնորհակալություն հայտնելով Միացյալ Նահանգներին՝ Հայաստանին տարիներ ի վեր ցուցաբերվող օժանդակության համար:

Զրուցակիցները հանգամանորեն անդրադարձել են Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցող փոփոխություններին՝ ժողովրդավարության ամրապնդման, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի, քաղաքացիական հասարակության, իրավական համակարգի զարգացման ոլորտներում: Այս առումով, Ռիչարդ Միլսն ընդգծել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ը պատրաստ է սերտ համագործակցության ՀՀ կառավարության հետ և ցուցաբերել անհրաժեշտ խորհրդատվական, տեխնիկական ու ֆինանսական օժանդակություն: Կողմերը քննարկել են նաև ամերիկյան ներդրումների ներգրավման ընդլայնմանն ու երկկողմ առևտրատնտեսական կապերի խթանմանը, այդ թվում՝ առկա ներուժի իրացմանն ուղղված հարցեր:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը և Ռիչարդ Միլսն անդրադարձել են նաև ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության կարգավորման գործընթացին և կարևորել հիմնախնդրի բացառապես խաղաղ կարգավորումը՝ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության ձևաչափի շրջանակում:
