 ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Արայիկ Հարությունյանը չի փոխել որոշումն ու չի պատրաստվում հանդիպել Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան ինստիտուտի նախկին տնօրեն Հայկ Դեմոյանի հետ: Կառավարության նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում նա վերահաստատեց նախկինում իր հնչեցրած միտքը, որ նրա հետ հանդիպումը կլիներ և կլինի ժամանակի վատնում: «Ես առիթ ունեցել եմ ասելու, այդ նամակից հետո էլ իմ համոզման մեջ ավելի եմ հաստատվել, որ ես նրա հետ հանդիպումից հետո ավելորդ ժամանակ կծախսեի, որը կարող եմ ծախսել օպերատիվ հարցեր լուծելու համար: Ես չեմ հանդիպի նրա հետ»,-ասաց Արայիկ Հարությունյանը:

«Արմենպրես»-ի ճշտող հարցին, թե այդ դեպքում ինչպես է պատկերացնում իրենց հարաբերությունները, եթե Դեմոյանը կրկին դառնա թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տնօրեն, քանի որ նախօրեին ԿԳ փոխնախարար Հովհաննես Հովհաննիսյանը հայտարարել էր՝ Հայկ Դեմոյանը կարող է հավակնել այդ պաշտոնին, Արայիկ Հարությունյանը պատասխանեց. «Եթե ընտրությունը լինի, և Հայկ Դեմոյանն ընտրվի տնօրեն, պետք է այդ ընտրության հետ հաշվի նստել»:

Հայկ Դեմոյանն օրեր առաջ ֆեյսբուքյան գրառման միջոցով ԿԳՆ Արայիկ Հարությունյանին ու նրա տեղակալ Հովհաննես Հովհաննիսյանին մեղադրել էր իր բացակայության ժամանակ իր առանձնասենյակ մտնելու մեջ, իսկ նախարարն, իր հերթին, հակադարձել էր, որ Դեմոյանն այլևս պաշտոն չի զբաղեցնում Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտում, հետևաբար, չի կարող ունենալ աշխատասենյակ:
