Բրյուսելում մեկնարկել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի երկօրյա գագաթնաժողովը: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ, բացի դաշինքի անդամ երկրների պատվիրակություններից՝ տարբեր ձևաչափերով հրավիրված են տասնյակ գործընկեր երկրների ղեկավարներ, այդ թվում՝ Աֆղանստանում «Վճռական աջակցություն» առաքելության մասնակիցները:

Գագաթնաժողովի ինտրիգը կդառնա ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի դիրքորոշումը ՆԱՏՕ-ի համար առանցքային հացերի շուրջ: Թրամփը բազմիցս մեղադրել է եվրոպական երկրներին, որ նրանք բավականաչափ վճարումներ չեն կատարում ՆԱՏՕ-ին:

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանн աշխատանքային այցով Բելգիայի Թագավորությունում է:  Բրյուսելյան այցի ընթացքում  վարչապետ Փաշինյանը Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակներում կմասնակցի Աֆղանստանում «Վճռական աջակցություն» առաքելությանը մասնակցող ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ և ոչ անդամ պետությունների և կառավարությունների ղեկավարների հանդիպմանը, որտեղ հանդես կգա ելույթով։ Տեղի կունենա նաև վարչապետի հանդիպումը ՆԱՏՕ-ի Գլխավոր քարտուղար Յանս Ստոլտենբերգի հետ:

Այցի շրջանակներում ՀՀ վարչապետ Փաշինյանը կհանդիպի Եվրամիության կառույցների ղեկավարների հետ, ինչպես նաև երկկողմ շփումներ կունենա մի շարք պետությունների և կառավարությունների ղեկավարների հետ: Ծրագրով նախատեսված է հանդիպում Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնի հետ: ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կհանդիպի նաև Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի փոխնախագահ, արտաքին հարաբերությունների և անվտանգության քաղաքականության հարցերով բարձր ներկայացուցիչ Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինիի հետ: 

Այցի ընթացքում ՀՀ վարչապետը հանդիպելու է նաև բելգիահայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Այցը կեզրափակվի հուլիսի 13-ին:
