Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը հուլիսի 22-ին, Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունեց Գերմանիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետության Բունդեսթագի պատգամավոր դոկտոր Քրիստոֆ Փլոսին՝ ուղեկցությամբ «Կոնրադ Ադենաուեր» հիմնադրամի հայաստանյան գրասենյակի ներկայացուցիչների:

Մայր Աթոռից NEWS>am-ին հայտնում են, որ Նորին Սրբությունը գոհունակությամբ նշեց, որ երկու երկրների միջպետական հարաբերությունները սերտանում ու զարգանում են՝ նպաստելով հայ եւ գերմանացի ժողովուրդների բարեկամական կապերի խորացմանը: Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը նաեւ իր երախտագիտությունը հայտնեց Գերմանիայի իշխանություններին Բունդեսթագում Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելու եւ դատապարտելու համար:

Հանդիպմանը Վեհափառ Հայրապետը հյուրին տեղեկություններ փոխանցեց Մայր Աթոռի առաքելության, հայ ժողովրդի կյանքում քրիստոնեական հավատի կարեւոր դերակատարության, Հայոց ցեղասպանության արհավիրքների, ինչպես նաեւ Եկեղեցու ներկա գործունեության մասին: Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն անդրադարձավ Հայաստանի եւ Հայ Եկեղեցու առջեւ ծառացած մարտահրավերներին ու խնդիրներին՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ դրանք եւս կհաղթահարվեն հայ ժողովրդի զորեղ հավատքի շնորհիվ:

Բուդեսթագի պատգամավոր Քրիստոֆ Փլոսն իր հերթին տեղեկացրեց Հայաստան իր այցի մասին, որի նպատակն է նպաստել երկու երկրների տնտեսական, քաղաքական եւ մշակութային հարաբերությունների առավել զարգացմանը:

Զրույցի ընթացքում խոսվեց նաեւ միջեկեղեցական հարաբերությունների, ի մասնավորի` Հայոց Եկեղեցու եւ Գերմանիայի Լյութերական-ավետարանական  Եկեղեցու միջեւ կապերի մասին:
