Հայաստանի Հանրապետության երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի խափանման միջոց կալանավորումը փոխելու վերաբերյալ վերաքննիչ բողոքը կքննվի օգոստոսի 9-ին: Այս մասին հայտնեց Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի պաշտպաններից Արամ Օրբելյանը:

Դատական նիստը նշանակված է ժամը 12:00-ին:

Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի խափանման միջոցը փոխելու համար ստորագրահավաք են իրականացրել նաև Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավորները: Ստորագրահավաքին միացել է 46 պատգամավոր: ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահի գրասենյակի ղեկավար Վիկտոր Սողոմոնյանը «Հետք»-ին հայտնել է, որ ստորագրահավաքին միացել է ՀՀԿ խմբակցության 42, ՀՅԴ խմբակցության 3 և «Ծառուկյան» խմբակցության 1 պատգամավոր: «Ծառուկյան» խմբակցությունից ստորագրահավաքին միացել է Իշխան Զաքարյանը: Հայտնի է, որ ՀՀԿ-ից ստորագրահավաքին միացած պատգամավորների թվում են Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Արա Բաբլոյանը, Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահներ Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանը և Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: Ստորագրահավաքին միացած ՀՀԿ խմբակցության մյուս պատգամավորների և ՀՅԴ խմբակցության 3 պատգամավորի անունները դեռ չեն հրապարակվել:
 
2008 թվականի մարտի 1-ից 2-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում Երևան քաղաքում տեղի ունեցած իրադարձությունների վերաբերյալ քրեական գործով ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին, ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Միքայել Հարությունյանին և ՀԱՊԿ գլխավոր քարտուղար Յուրի Խաչատուրովին մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 300.1-ին հոդվածի 1-ին մասով այն բանի համար, որ նրանք այլ անձանց հետ նախնական համաձայնությամբ տապալել են Հայաստանի Հանրապետության սահմանադրական կարգը:
 
Միքայել Հարությունյանի նկատմամբ հետախուզում է հայտարարվել, Յուրի Խաչատուրովը 5 միլիոն դրամ գրավի դիմաց ազատ է արձակվել, իսկ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը կալանավորվել է: Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի պաշտպանները բողոքարկել են կալանավորման որոշումը:
