Բավականին երկար ժամանակ է, որ հանրության ուշադրության կենտրոնում է մի դեպք, որը մի փոքր զննելուց հետո կոտրում է այն պատկերացումները, թե իբր նոր Հայաստանի դատաիրավական համակարգում վերջ է դրվել անօրինականությանը և չկան պատվերով գործող պաշտոնատար անձինք։ Հենց Վյաչեսլավ Հարությունովի դեպքը փաստում է վերոնշյալ թվարկածներս, իսկ նման գործունեություն ծավալող անձանց պատճառով արդեն մեկ ամսից ավել է ինչ Էդուարդ Բաբայանը անհիմն ձևով գտնվում է կալանքի տակ՝ ծանր մարմնական վնասվածքներ հասցնելու մեղադրանքով։

Սակայն այն եզրակացությունը, որ տվել է դատաբժիշկը, թե իբր ենթադրյալ տուժողը բազմակի հարվածներ է ստացել գլխին , ստացել է ուղեղի ցնցում, ունեցել է սալջարդներ և կողոսկրի կոտրվելու հետևանքով ծակվել է թոքը, չի համապատասխանում իրականությանը և ամբողջովին հորինվածք է։ Բոլորս էլ այն կարծիքին ենք, որ այս պարագայում մարդը օրեր շարունակ պետք է վերականգնողական պրոցես անցներ բժիշկների հսկողության տակ։ Եվ չի գտնվի որևէ դատաբժիշկ կամ մասնագետ, ով կհաստատի, որ նման վնասվածքներ ստացած անձը երկրորդ օրը կարող է ակտիվ շարժվել և ծակված թոքով բարձրաձայն խոսել։

Բայց Հարությունովը ենթադրյալ դեպքի հենց երկրորդ օրը ժամեր շարունակ ոտքի վրա էր և ակտիվ կերպով՝ մասնավորապես ձեռքերի շարժումներով ու ձայնի բարձր առոգանությամբ պատասխանում էր լրագրողների հարցերին՝ հերքելով Էդուարդ Բաբայանի մասնակցությունը միջադեպին։

Հարությունովի վերջին ասուլիսից պարզ դարձավ նաև , որ ՀՔԾ-ում իր վրա ճնշում են գործադրել և իրենց անհրաժեշտ ցուցմունք չտրամադրելու դեպքում սպառնացել են հրապարակել տեսանյութեր, որոնց համացանցում հայտնվելու դեպքում Հարությունովի նկատմամբ հաշվեհարդար կտեսնեն և ինքը խայտառակ կլինի։

Հատկանշական է, որ Հարությունովը իր վերջին ասուլիսի ժամանակ խնդրանքով դիմել է նաև Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին և հրավիրել է նրա ուշադրությունը այս գործի վրա:

Այն, որ փորձաքննությունը իրականացրած ողջ անձնակազմը և եզրակացություն տված դատաբժիշկը պետք է պատժվեն դա միանշանակ է, սպառնալիքներ հնչեցրած քննիչը ևս պետք է ենթարկվի պատասխանատվության, սակայն անպայման պետք է պատժվեն այս գործի հետ առնչություն ունեցող բոլոր այն անձինք, ովքեր այս ամենի պատվիրատուներն ու հովանավորներն են, ովքեր դեռ չեն գիտակցում, որ նոր իրողությունում հին մեթոդներով աշխատելը անընդունելի է և պետք է արմատախիլ արվի:
