ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ ՓաշինյանըՀանրապետության հրապարակում մեկնարկած օգոստոսի 17-ի հանրահավաքի մասնակիցներին կոչ արեց իջեցնել բոլոր այն պաստառները, որոնք ուղղված են ընդդեմ որևէ մեկի, քանի որ, ըստ նրա, հանրահավաքը հայ ժողովրդի միասնության հանրահավաքն է: 

«Այսօր բացառիկ օր է և բացառիկ իրադարձություն, այսպիսի բան Հայաստանի կյանքում առաջին անգամ է տեղի ունենում: Ի՞նչ նկատի ունեմ: Այսօր այս հրապարակում են գտնվում Հայաստանի հարյուր հազարավոր քաղաքացիներ, այսօր այս հրապարակում են գտնվում ոստիկանության, ԱԱԾ-ի հարյուրավոր աշխատակիցներ, այսօր այս հրապարակում են գտնվում Արցախի Հանրապետությունից ժամանած հազարավոր մեր հայրենակիցներ, այսօր այստեղ են գտնվում Ռուսաստանի, ԱՄՆ-ի, Եվրոպայի, Իրանի, սփյուռքի բազմաթիվ համայնքների ներկայացուցիչներ: Այսօր  սահմանին մեր խաղաղությունը պահպանում և պաշտպանում են ՀՀ զինված ուժերի փառապանծ գեներալներ, սպաներ և զինվորներ: Եվ նրանք հոգով և մտքով այստեղ են»,- ասաց ՀՀ վարչապետը:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի խոսքով՝ այսօր հայ ժողովուրդը միասնական է առավել, քան երբևէ, և այսօր հայ ժողովրդի միասնության ու միասնական հաղթանակի օրն է: 

«Այսօր քանի որ միասնության օր է, խնդրում եմ իջեցրեք բոլոր այն պատառները, որոնք ուղղված են ընդդեմ որևէ մեկի, որովհետև այս հանրահավաքը չի կարող լինել ընդդեմ որևէ մեկի, սա հայ ժողովրդի հաղթանակի, միասնության հանրահավաքն է»,- ասաց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:

ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն օգոստոսի 1-ին «Ֆեյսբուք» սոցիալական ցանցի իր էջում ուղիղ եթերով հայտարարել էր, որ օգոստոսի 17-ին Հանրապետության հրապարակում անցկացնելու է մեծ հանրահավաք, որի ընթացքում էլ ամփոփելու է իր պաշտոնավարման 100 օրը:
