Apple ընկերությունն սկսել Է հրավերներ ուղարկել ԶԼՄ-ների աշխատակիցներին սեպտեմբերի 12-ին պլանավորված շնորհանդեսի համար, որտեղ, ինչպես սպասվում Է, կներկայացվեն iPhone սմարթֆոնների նոր մոդելներ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է The Verge ինտերնետ-պորտալը: 
Միջոցառումը կկայանա Քուփերթինոյում (Կալիֆոռնիայի նահանգ): Հրավիրագրերում տվյալներ չկան, թե ինչ սարքեր են ցուցադրվելու շնորհանդեսին:
Ավելի վաղ Bloomberg գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով ընկերությանը մոտ կանգնած աղբյուրներ,հայտնել Է, որ Apple կորպորացիան պլանավորում Է սեպտեմբերին ներկայացնել iPhone-ի երեք նոր մոդելներ: Նշվում Է, որ նոր սարքերի դիզայնը լուրջ փոփոխությունների չի ենթարկվի նախորդ մոդելների համեմատությամբ: Այս անգամ Apple-ը որոշել Է նոր iPhone-ները բաժանել տարբեր գնային կատեգորիաների, որպեսզի գրավի տարբեր կարողության տեր գնորդների եւ ավելացնի վաճառքների ծավալները: 
Ինչպես գրում Է Bloomberg-ը, D33 կոդային անվանումը կրող երեք նոր մոդելներից մեկը կստանա 6,5-դյույմանոց OLED-դիսփլեյ, մետաղյա շրջանակով ապակե պանել, կրկնապատկված խցիկ: Դա սարքն ամենախոշոր սմարթֆոնը կդարձնի այսօրվա դրությամբ: Նորույթների տեսակետից՝ նոր iPhone-ի օպերացիոն համակարգում կհայտնվի կոնտենտի դիտման գործառույթ տարբեր հավելվածներից: 
D32 կոդային անվանումը կրող մյուս մոդելը կդառնա iPhone X-ի բարելավված տարբերակը, որը կօժտվի ավելի մեծ արտադրողականությամբ եւ ավելի լավ խցիկով: 
Նոր շարքի երրորդ մոդելը կդառնա iPhone 8-ին փոխարինողը՝ N84 կոդային անվանմամբ: Նոր սարքն ավելի Էժան կլինի իր հնացող նմանօրինակից, բայց դրանում նույնպես կփոխարինվեն առանձին դետալներ: Մասնավորապես, N84-ը կունենա 6,1 դյույմանոց LCD Էկրան, իսկ չժանգոտվող մետաղից պատրաստված կորպուսը կփոխարինվի ալյումինե կորպուսով:
Գործակալությունը նաեւ հայտնում Է, որ iPhone-ի բոլոր նոր մոդելները կստանան ժեստերով կառավարման գործառույթ, որը կփոխարինի սմարթֆոնի Էկրանի Home կոճակին: Բացի այդ, մի քանի երկրներում նոր սմարթֆոնները կվաճառվեն երկու սիմ-քարտերով, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
