Ռուսաստանում սեպտեմբերի 9-ին տարբեր մակարդակի շուրջ 5 հազար ընտրություն Է անցկացվել քվեարկության միասնական օրվա շրջանակներում: Մասնավորապես, ռուսաստանցիներն ընտրում Էին Դաշնության 26 սուբյեկտների ղեկավարների եւ 16 տարածաշրջանների խորհրդարանների պատգամավորների, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով «Ինտերֆաքս»-ին:

Բավականին թեժ պայքար Է ծավալվել Ռուսաստանի չորս տարածաշրջանների՝ Պրիմորիեի եւ Խաբարովսկի երկրամասի, Խակասիա Հանրապետության, ինչպես նաեւ Խաբարովսկի երկրամասի նահանգապետների ընտրություններում: Այնտեղ չի հաջողվել որոշել հաղթողներին, թեկնածուները կպայքարեն երկրորդ փուլում: Այսպես, Պրիմորիեի երկրամասում մրցակցելու են «Եդինայա Ռոսիա» կուսակցությունից թեկնածու Անդրեյ Տարասենկոն (հավաքել Է ձայների 46,56 տոկոսը) եւ կոմունիստ Անդրեյ Իշչենկոն (24,64 տոկոս): Խաբարովսկի երկրամասում երկրորդ փուլ են անցել ՌԼԴԿ-ից թեկնածու Սերգեյ Ֆուրգալը (35,81 տոկոս) եւ տարածաշրջանի գործող ղեկավար Սերգեյ Շպորտը (35,62 տոկոս): Խակասիա Հանրապետությունում ընտրություն են անելու ՌԴ կոմկուսից թեկնածու Վալենտին Կոնովալովի (44,81 տոկոս) եւ եդինոռոս Վիկտոր Զիմինի (32,42 տոկոս) միջեւ: Վերջապես, Վլադիմիրի մարզում երկրորդ փուլ են անցել գործող նահանգապետ Սվետլանա Օռլովան (36,42 տոկոս) եւ ՌԼԴԿ-ից թեկնածու Վլադիմիր Սիպյակինը (31,19 տոկոս):

Յուրատեսակ ռեկորդ Է սահմանել Յամալա-Նենեցյան ինքնավար շրջանի ղեկավարի պաշտոնակատար 30-ամյա Դմիտրի Արտյուխովը, որին Օրենսդիր ժողովի պատգամավորները նախօրյակին հաստատեցին նահանգապետի պաշտոնում. նա դարձել Է տարածաշրջանի ամենաերիտասարդ ղեկավարը Ռուսաստանում: Մյուս տարածաշրջաններում նահանգապետի ընտրություններում ընդհանուր առմամբ անակնկալներ չեն գրանցվել, եւ առաջատարներ են դարձել ավելի վաղ տարածաշրջանների ղեկավարների ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատարներ նշանակվածները: Մասնավորապես, Կրասնոյարսկի երկրամասում հաղթանակ Է տարել նահանգապետի պաշտոնակատար Ալեքսանդր Ուսսը (60,19 տոկոս), Տյումենի մարզում՝ Ալեքսանդր Մոորը (65,86 տոկոս), Նիժնի Նովգորոդի մարզում՝ Գլեբ Նիկիտինը (67,75 տոկոս), Պսկովի մարզում՝ Միխայիլ Վեդյորնիկովը (70,68 տոկոս), Կեմերովոյի մարզում՝ Սերգեյ Ցիվիլյովը (81,29 տոկոս): Բացի այդ, իր պաշտոնը պահպանել Է Մոսկվայի մարզի գործող նահանգապետ Անդրեյ Վորովբյովը (62,52 տոկոս):

Մոսկվայի քաղաքագլխի ընտրություններում սպասելիորեն հաղթել Է Սերգեյ Սոբյանինը: Մոսկվայի գործող քաղաքագլուխը տեղամասային ընտրական հանձնաժողովներից ստացված 99 տոկոս արձանագրությունների տվյալների ամփոփումից հետո հավաքում Է ընտրողների ձայների 70,02 տոկոսը: Մոսկվայի քաղաքային ընտրական հանձնաժողովի տվյալներով՝ Սոբյանինի օգտին քվեարկել են 1,5 միլիոնից ավելի քաղաքացիներ: Երկրորդ տեղն զբաղեցնում Է ՌԴ կոմկուսից քաղաքագլխի թեկնածու Վադիմ Կումինը, որի օգտին քվեարկել Է ընտրողների 11,44 տոկոսը, երրորդ տեղում «Արդար Ռուսաստան»-ից թեկնածու Իլյա Սվիրիդովն Է՝ 6,76 տոկոս ձայներով: Ընտրություններին մասնակցությունը կազմել Է 30,36 տոկոս:
