«Շանթ 2018» համապետական նշանակության զորավարժության շրջանակում  ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի տեղակալ Գաբրիել Բալայանը ներկայացրել է զորավարժության սցենարով նախատեսված ընթացիկ և առաջիկա պայմանական գործողությունները։

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ՊՆ տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Գաբրիել Բալայանը նշել է, որ զորավարժության սցենարից շեղումներ չկան, կապը այլ պետական մարմինների հետ գործում է, իրադրությունը զարգանում է սահմանված ժամանակացույցի համաձայն։ Արդյունավետ փոխգործակցություն է ընթանում ՀՀ ԶՈՒ-երի և այլ զորքերի միջև, փորձելով զորավաժության պայմանական զարգացումներին համահունչ՝ վերջիններիս նույնպես նախապատրաստել ներգրավելու ՀՀ պաշտպանությանը։

Ըստ զորավարժության սցենարի՝ առկա է առաջխաղացում Թուրքիայի սահմանից, ՀՀ են ներխուժել փախստականներ, որոնց մեջ կան նաև ահաբեկիչներ։ Նրանց որոնողական աշխատանքներն սկսվել են։

Այս պահի դրությամբ, պայմանականորեն, ՀՀ-ի նկատմամբ ոչ բարեկամաբար տրամադրված երկրների ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարությունների կողմից արվում են ապակայունացման միտում ունեցող հայտարարություններ, որոնց հնարավոր վտանգների չեզոքացման ուղղությամբ աշխատանք է տարվում ՀՀ-ում հավատարմագրված ռազմական կցորդների և դիվանագիտական համապատասխան օղակների միջոցով։

Առաջիկայում տեղի կունենա անվտանգության խորհրդի նիստ, որի ընթացքում «Շանթ 2018»-ի շրջանակում ընթացող զարգացումների վերաբերյալ զեկույցներով հանդես կգան ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը, ՀՀ ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետը և ուժային մյուս կառույցների ղեկավարները։ Քննարկվելու է պայմանական՝ պատերազմ և երկրում ռազմական դրություն հայտարարելու նպատակահարմարության հարցը։
