ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Արա Բաբլոյանը սեպտեմբերի 27-ին ընդունել է ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամի (ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ) Եվրոպայի եւ Կենտրոնական Ասիայի տարածաշրջանի ղեկավար եւ Եվրոպայում փախստականների եւ միգրանտների ճգնաժամի արձագանքման հարցերով հատուկ համակարգող Աֆշան Խանին ու ՀՀ-ում ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամի ներկայացուցիչ Տանյա Ռադոչային:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ լրատվության և հանրության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Արա Բաբլոյանը, ողջունելով հյուրերին խորհրդարանում, կարեւորել է ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամի դերը Հայաստանում երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության ու խնդիրների լուծման հարցում:

Խորհրդարանի ղեկավարը վստահեցրել է, որ երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը վերաբերող ցավոտ հարցերը մշտապես գտնվում են իր ուշադրության կենտրոնում եւ ինքը հետամուտ է դրանց լուծման հարցում:

Խոսելով հաշմանդամություն ունեցող եւ բռնության ենթարկված երեխաների խնդիրներից՝ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահը կարեւորել է ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամի հետ իրականացվող ծրագրերի շարունակականությունը:

Աֆշան Խանը բարձր է գնահատել Արա Բաբլոյանի դերակատարությունն ու ներդրումը երեխաների իրավունքերի պաշտպանության եւ մի շարք առողջապահական ծրագրեր կյանքի կոչելու հարցում: Նա, կարեւորելով համագործակցության շրջանակի ընդլայնումը, համազմունք է հայտնել, որ համատեղ ծրագրերի իրականացումը կնպաստի առողջապահության ու կրթության ոլորտի խնդիրների լուծմանը:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում զրուցակիցները քննարկել են առողջապահական երկարատեւ ծրագրեր իրականացնելու հեռանկարներին, ներառական կրթության ապահովմանն ու երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտի մի շարք խնդիրների լուծմանն ուղղված նախաձեռնությունների իրականացմանն առնչվող հարցեր: Այս համատեքստում տիկին Խանն ընդգծել է, որ ակնկալում է Արա Բաբլոյանի աջակցությունը:
