ԱՊՀ նախագահությունը Տաջիկստանից փոխանցվեց Թուրքմենստանի Հանրապետությանը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այդ մասին որոշումը կայացվեց Դուշանբեում` ԱՊՀ մասնակից պետությունների խորհրդի հերթական նիստում, որին մասնակցում է նաև ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:

ԱՊՀ գործադիր քարտուղար Սերգեյ Լեբեդևը ընդլայնված նիստում տեղեկացրեց, որ նեղ կազմում նիստում ամփոփվել են ԱՊՀ շրջանակում ընթացիկ տարվա ընթացքում համագործակցության արդյունքները և քննարկվել ԱՊՀ շրջանակում փոխգործակցության հետագա զարգացման հիմնական ուղղությունները: «Հատուկ ուշադրություն է դարձվել 2020 թվականին Հայրենական Մեծ պատերազմի հաղթանակի 75-ամյակի տոնակատարությունները համատեղ նշելու նախապատրաստական աշխատանքներին»,- ասաց Լեբեդևը:

Խորհուրդը հայտարարություն է ընդունել Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության համընդհանուր հռչակագրի ընդունման 70-ամյակի կապակցությամբ, հաստատել 2021 թվականին «ԱՊՀ մշակութային մայրաքաղաք» միջոցառումները Տաջիկստանում անցկացնելու որոշումը, 2021 թվականն ԱՊՀ-ում հայտարարել ճարտարապետության և քաղաքաշինության տարի: Հաստատվել է 2019–2023 թվականների հանցավորության դեմ պայքարի համատեղ միջպետական ծրագիրը, ստորագրվել տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտում հանցավորության դեմ պայքարում ԱՊՀ մասնակից պետությունների միջև համաձայնագիրը: Փոփոխություններ են կատարվել ԱՊՀ մասնակից պետությունների պաշտպանության նախարարների խորհրդի կանոնակարգում, լրացումներ` ԱՊՀ հակաահաբեկչական կենտրոնի կանոնակարգում: Նիստի ընթացքում ստորագրվել են բազմակողմ համագործակցության մի շարք փաստաթղթեր` հումանիտար, իրավապահ և ռազմական ոլորտներում: ԱՊՀ հաջորդ գագաթնաժողովը տեղի կունենա Թուրքմենստանի մայրաքաղաք Աշխաբադում` 2019 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 11-ին:
