Աշխարհահռչակ հայ շանսոնյե Շառլ Ազնավուրի մահը մեծ կորուստ է ողջ մարդկության համար: Ազնավուրի մահվանն անդրադարձել են միջազգային հեղինակավոր ԶԼՄ-ները, ներկայացրել շանսոնյեի կյանքն ու անցած ճանապարհը:

Բրիտանական The Guardian պարբերականը Ազնավուրին համեմատել է Սինատրայի հետ` տեղեկացնելով շանսոնյեի մահվան մասին: «Շառլ Ազնավուրը` Ֆրանսիայի Ֆրենկ Սինատրան, մահացել է 94 տարեկանում»,- Ազնավուրի մահվան լուրը վերնագրել է պարբերականը:

Բրիտանական մեկ այլ հեղինակավոր լրատվամիջոց` BBC-ն իր նյութում հիշեցրել է, որ Ազնավուրը 1998թ.-ին CNN-ի կողմից հռչակվել է դարի շանսոնյե:

«80-ամյա շարունակական կարիերայից հետո 94 տարեկանում մահացել է երգիչ, երգերի հեղինակ Շառլ Ազնավուրը: Աստղը մահացել է Ֆրանսիայի հարավ-արևելքում գտնվող իր տներից մեկում:

Հայ գաղթյալների ընտանիքում ծնված արտիստի ձայնասկավառակները վաճառվել են ավելի քան 180 մլն օրինակով: Նա նկարահանվել է ավելի քան 60 ֆիլմերում:

«Ալ Արաբիա» լրատվամիջոցը հիշեցրել է, որ Շառլ Ազնավուրը խոստացել էր երգել նաև իր 100-ամյակին: «Նախորդ տարվա մայիսին նա կոտրել էր ձեռքը, սակայն նոյեմբերին պետք է սկսեր Ֆրանսիայում համերգների իր շրջագայությունը` Փարիզից մեկնարկելով: 2013թ.-ին տված իր հարցազրույցում Ազնավուրը խոստացել էր երգել իր 100-ամյակի տոնակատարությանը»,- գրել է լրատվամիջոցը:

Ռուսական «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն ներկայացրել է շանսոնյեի ստացած պարգևները: «Երաժիշտը կրում է Հայաստանի ազգային հերոսի կոչումը: Նրան պարգևատրել են Հայրենիքի շքանշանով` «Ռուսաստանի և Ֆրանսիայի  միջև մշակութային հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման ու ներդրած ավանդի համար»: Նա նաև արժանացել է Ռաուլ Վալլենբերգի մեդալին` երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի տարիներին հրեաներին փրկելու աշխատանքներին մասնակցելու համար»,- գրել է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն:
