AsekoseNews-Մյունխենի անվտանգության համաժողովի Հիմնական խմբի՝ տարածաշրջանային հակամարտություններին վերաբերող մինսկյան քննարկումների ժամանակ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն արձագանքել է ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության կարգավորման վերաբերյալ Ադրբեջանի պատվիրակի մեկնաբանություններին, ինչպես նաեւ նրա այն դիտարկմանը, թե Հայաստանի երկրորդ և երրորդ նախագահներն իրավունք չունեին զբաղեցնել այդ պաշտոնը, «քանի որ ծագումով Հայաստանից չէին»:

Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն իր խոսքում մասնավորապես ասել է. «Որպես Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ չեմ կարծում, որ բացառությամբ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացիների կարող եմ ուրիշ որևէ մեկի դատողությունն ընդունել լեգիտիմության կամ Հայաստանի սահմանադրության մեկնաբանության մասին: Որպես Սահմանադրության երաշխավոր, Հայաստանի ժողովրդի դատին կթողնեմ, թե ով է Հայաստանում լեգիտիմ, ով՝ ոչ: Սա իմ փոքր մեկնաբանությունն էր»: Խոսելով ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության մասին՝ Հանրապետության նախագահն ասել է. «Կարևոր է ոչ միայն խոսել խաղաղության մասին, այլև՝ գործել հանուն դրա: Դու կարող ես կիրառել խաղաղության լեզուն՝ այն կարող է լինել ճիշտ կամ սխալ, սակայն գործողություններն են իրականում ցույց տալիս՝ արդյոք հակված եք խաղաղության, թե՞ խաղաղության մասին խոսելը պարզապես խոսքեր են: Կարևոր է գործել հանուն խաղաղության»: Անդրադառնալով ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության կարգավորման մեջ ժամանակի գործոնի դերին` նախագահ Սարգսյանը մասնավորապես նշել է․ «Մենք գիտենք, որ ժամանակը հարաբերական հասկացություն է: Եթե այն աշխատում է հօգուտ խաղաղության, ապա մենք կարող ենք սպասել, իսկ եթե աշխատում է պատերազմի օգտին, ապա այն շատ կարճ է։ Ես խորապես մտահոգված եմ՝ տեսնելով ադրբեջանական կողմի միլիտարիզացիան, և թե որքան գումար է ներդրվում այս գործում։ Այդ ամենը վկայում է, որ այստեղ կուտակվում է մեծ ռազմական ներուժ: Եթե ուշադրություն դարձնեք դրան, կտեսնեք, որ ժամանակը չի գործում հօգուտ խաղաղության: Կա՞ հավանականություն, որ կլինի շղթայական ռեակցիա՝ այո: Մենք պետք է սկսենք ոչ միայն խոսել, այլև գործել խաղաղության ժամանակ: Հայաստանում շուտով կլինեն ընտրություններ, որոնց արդյունքում կձևավորվեն լեգիտիմ կառավարություն ու խորհրդարան, կլինեն մարդիկ, ովքեր կկարողանան Ադրբեջանի հետ նստել բանակցային սեղանի շուրջ: Իրականում ամեն բան կախված է ժողովրդի կամքից»: Կոչ անելով ականջալուր լինել Արցախի Հանրապետության ժողովրդին` Հանրապետության նախագահը ևս մեկ անգամ շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ԵԱՀԿ-ին այն ջանքերի համար, որոնք կազմակերպությունը ներդնում է հանուն խնդրի կարգավորման: «Կա հակամարտության կարգավորման միայն մեկ՝ խաղաղ ճանապարհ, ռազմական ճանապարհներ չկան,-ասել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը: -Եթե վերսկսվեն ռազմական գործողությունները, կտուժեն բոլորը՝ և՛ Արցախում, և՛ Ադրբեջանում, և՛ Հայաստանում բնակվող ժողովուրդներն ու ամբողջ աշխարհը: Այսինքն` կա միայն մեկ՝ խաղաղ հանգուցալուծման ուղին, որը կարող է իրականացվել ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի միջոցով»:
