Հայտնի է, որ հայկական կողմի պատասխանները, զինադադարի կնքման օրվանից ի վեր, երբևէ համարժեք չեն եղել: Երկու տարի առաջ՝ Ռամիլ սաֆարովի արտահանձնումից հետո Հայաստանի նախագահը "հատուկ հանձնարարություն" տվեց ԱԱԾ տնօրենին: Միայն տգետները չկռահեցին թե ինչ հանձնարարություն էր դա: Սակայն, մինչ այսօր՝ հանձնարարությունը կատարված չէ և դժվար թե երբևէ ի կատար ածվի: Առավել լուրջ "հանձնարարություններ" են եղել աշխարհում. ամենահայտնին՝ Սալման Ռուշդիի դեմ հռչակված ֆաթվան, որ նաև ֆինանսական կողմ ուներ: Շուրջ մեկ տասնամյակ բրիտանական ոստիկանության պահպանության տակ գտնվող և թաքնվող Ռուշդին այսօր Նյու Յորքի տարբեր բարձրաշխարհիկ բարերում ոչ այնքան բարձրաշխարհիկ կանանց հետ տարբեր խմիչքներ է վայելում: Ինքս եմ տեսել, տեսել եմ բազմիցս: Օգոստոսյան դեպքերից հետո հայկական զինուժը գրեթե հիմալայան մի քանի չվերհսկվող բարձունք գրավեց: Դա ներկայացվեց որպես մեծ նվաճում և հարցը փակվեց: Գուցե և ճիշտ են այն լուրերը, թե նաև մի քանի պատժիչ խրամատային գործողություններ իրականացվեցին: Սակայն այդպես չեն պատասխանում: Դա պատասխան չէ և սեփական ուժի ստուգարքի հանձնում չէ: Փոխանակ Իսրայելին միայն քննադատելու /Ադրբեջանին աջակցելու առումով լիովին տեղին/, պետք է ուսումնասիրել հրեական պետության ռազմական դոկտրինը, հրեական ազգային գաղափարախոսությունը /որն այնքան անմտորեն ատում են հայերը/ և պատմական ու այսօրվա փորձը և բառացիորեն կրկնօրինակել այդ ամենը, եթե ուզում եք՝ կապկել, այո՛ կապկել: Իսրայելի ռազմական քաղաքականությունը կարելի է քննարկել, այն մեծ սխալներ ունի իր մեջ, կարելի է քննադատել, կարելի է չընդունել, սակայն չհարգել՝ չի կարելի: այդ երկիրը մեզ պես շրջապատված է թշնամիներով, սակայն, ի տարբերություն մեզ, հստակ հասկանում է՝ որոնք են իր գոյատևելու երաշխիքները:
ՊՆ խոսնակի հայտարարությունը բավական բարձրահունչ է: Այն ենթադրում է պատասխանատվություն սեփական ժողովրդի հանդեպ, որն արդեն բարձրաձայն դժգոհում է, որ արձագանքներն ավանդաբար ամպագորգոռ են, սակայն իրականում անատամ: Հիմա ժամանակն է ցույց տալու, որ խաղաղ և սեփական մորթվելը օբյեկտիվ պայմաններով անընդհատ բացատրող ու իր "զսպվածության" "իմաստնության" մեջ համոզված պետությունը պետք է վերանայի սեփական մոտեցումներն ու անմիտ պահվածքը: Պատերազմից չպետք է վախենալ: Այն միևնույն է՝ անխուսափելի է: Եվ եթե պետք է պատերազմ լինի՝ ապա առաջին հաղթանակներն անպայման նախահարձակ կողմին են պատկանելու:
