Գերմանիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետության կանցլերի նստավայրում այսօր կայացել է Հայաստանի նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի և կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելի հանդիպումը։

Այս մասին հայտնում են ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից: Ողջունելով Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահի պաշտոնական այցը Գերմանիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետություն՝ կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելն ասել է, որ շատ լավ հիշողություններ ունի Հայաստան կատարած իր վերջին այցից։

Նա նշել է, որ հատկապես տպավորված է «ԹՈՒՄՈ» ստեղծարար տեխնոլոգիաների կենտրոնով, և այս պահին գերմանական կողմը քննարկում է համագործակցության հնարավորությունները։

«Հայաստանը Գերմանիան դիտարկում է որպես քաղաքական և տնտեսական կարևոր գործընկեր ու բարեկամ երկիր»,- ասել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը և նշել, որ ուրախ է կրկին հանդիպելու և շարունակելու հայ-գերմանական հարաբերությունների ընդլայնման վերաբերյալ քննարկումները։ 

Նրա խոսքով՝ երկու երկրները կարող են հաջողությամբ համագործակցել բարձր և տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտներում, որտեղ Հայաստանն ունի մեծ ներուժ: «Մեր երկիրը կարող է հարթակ լինել տարբեր ստարտափների համար»,- ընդգծել է Արմեն Սարգսյանը։

Հայաստանի նախագահն ու Գերմանիայի կանցլերը երկու բարեկամ ժողովուրդների միջև կապերի ամրապնդման տեսանկյունից կարևորել են նաև մշակութային ու գիտակրթական ոլորտներում ձևավորված բավականին արդյունավետ համագործակցության ընդլայնումը։ Նրանք խոսել են նաև զբոսաշրջության ոլորտում գործակցության վերաբերյալ, ինչպես նաև մտքեր փոխանակել վիզաների ազատականացման հարցի շուրջ։
