Վերին Գետաշենում օծվեցին Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցու նորակառույց զանգակատան զանգը եւ Սուրբ Խաչը

Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Վերին Գետաշեն գյուղում, ձեռամբ Գեղարքունյաց թեմի առաջնորդական տեղապահ Կիրակոս վարդապետ Դավթյանի եւ Ուկրաինայի Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Մարկոս եպիսկոպոս Հովհաննիսյանի, օծվեցին Ս. Աստվածածին եկեղեցու զանգակատան զանգը եւ Սուրբ Խաչը։ Վերին Գետաշենի գյուղապետ Տիգրան Մուրադյանը, միջոցառմանը ներկա գտնվեցին Գեղարքունյաց թեմի հոգեւոր դասի, պետական ու տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմինների ղեկավարներ եւ ներկայացուցիչներ, Վերին Գետաշենի եւ հարակից համայնքների հավատավորներ։
«Ս. Աստվածածին եկեղեցին գործել սկսել է 1879 թվականին, որը հիմնանորոգվել ու բացվել է Արեւմտյան Հայաստանի Ալաշկերտ գավառից գաղթած եւ Վերին Գետաշեն գյուղում վերաբնակված հայ բնակչության ուժերով։ 1930-ական թվականներին Խորհրդային իշխանությունը եկեղեցին վերածել է կոլխոզի պահեստի, այնուհետ այն լքվել էր եւ վերածվել փլատակների՝1960-ական թվականներից սկսած։ Անհայտ հանգամանքներում այդ ժամանակաշրջանում անհետացել են եկեղեցու զանգերը, Խաչը, քանդվել է զանգակատունը: 2005 թվականին եկեղեցին վերակառուցվել է նախ հավատավոր ազգաբնակչության, ապա՝ նաեւ վերինգետաշենցի Միհրանյան եղբայրների միջոցներով։ Այդ շրջանում Գեղարքունյաց թեմի առաջնորդական տեղապահ Մարկոս վարդապետ Հովհաննիսյանի եւ Կոտայքի թեմի առաջնորդ Առաքել եպիսկոպոս Քարամյանի ձեռամբ օծվել են արդեն խոնարհված եկեղեցու կամարները եւ նոր կյանքի կոչվել։Անդրանիկ Միհրանյանը վերջերս հովանավորել էր նաեւ եկեղեցու զանգակատան կառուցումը եւ Սուրբ Խաչի տեղադրումը: Եվ քանի որ եկեղեցու կամարներն օծել էր այն ժամանակ Գեղարքունյաց թեմի, իսկ այժմ Ուկրաինայի թեմի առաջնորդ Մարկոս եպիսկոպոս Հովհաննիսյանը, նրան էլ վերապահվել էր զանգակատան զանգի եւ Սուրբ Խաչի օծման պատիվը:Օծման արարողությունից հետո եկեղեցու բակում Անդրանիկ Միհրանյանի հովանավորությամբ հավատավորներին բաժանվեց Սուրբ մատաղ: Այսուհետ Վերին Գետաշենի եկեղեցում կղողանջի մոտ մեկ դար տեւողությամբ լռած զանգը: Զանգի եւ Սուրբ Խաչի օծումը Վերին Գետաշենում վերածվեց համաժողովրդական տոնախմբության»,- ներկայացրեց համայնքի ղեկավարը:
Վերին Գետաշենի Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցու բակում է թաղված հայ ազգային ազատագրական պայքարի հերոս, նշանավոր ֆիդայի Աղջնա Վահանը կամ Վահան Հազարապետը, ում մարմինն այստեղ հողին են հանձնել իր մարտական ընկերներ Չոլոն ու Մորուք Կարոն:
