Դեկտեմբերի 5-ին ՀՀ ոստիկանության պետ Վալերիյ Օսիպյանը հանդիպեց դեկտեմբերի 9-ին կայանալիք ԱԺ արտահերթ ընտրություններին Երևանում ռեյտինգային ընտրակարգով առաջադրված պատգամավորության թեկնածուներին ու նախընտրական շտաբների ղեկավարներին:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀոստիկանության տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ոստիկանության պետը նշեց, որ ոստիկանությունը սկսել է ուժեղացված ծառայություն և ողջ ծավալով պատրաստ է ընտրություններին: Սակայն դրա հետ մեկտեղ Վալերիյ Օսիպյանը հույս հայտնեց, որ միասնական աշխատանքի շնորհիվ էլ ավելի հեշտ կհասնենք ցանկալի արդյունքի, և կոչ արեց ներկաներին համագործակցել ոստիկանության հետ, ցանկացած իրավախախտման ականատես լինելիս՝ դիմել ոստիկանություն:

Խոսվեց ոստիկանության պատրաստած թռուցիկների մասին, որոնք կանխարգելիչ նշանակություն ունեն՝ հիշեցնում են ընտրությունների հետ կապված օրենքով արգելված գործողությունները։ 

Թեկնածուներն ու շտաբների ղեկավարները հարցեր ուղղեցին Վալերիյ Օսիպյանին, որոնք հիմնականում վերաբերում էին նախընտրական շրջանի գործընթացներին ու նաև բուն ընտրության օրը ոստիկանության ծառայությանը:
Նույն օրը ՀՀ ոստիկանության պետ Վալերիյ Օսիպյանը աշխատանքային խորհրդակցություն անցկացրեց ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության ու ենթակա բաժինների անձնակազմի հետ:

Վալերիյ Օսիպյանը ներկայացրեց ոստիկանության առջև դրված պահանջները. կանխել ու բացահայտել ընտրակաշառք խոստանալու, առաջարկելու, տալու և վերցնելու դեպքերը, բացառել ընտրատեղամասերին հարող տարածքում մինչև 50 մետր շառավղով խմբերով հավաքվելը, ընտրատեղամասերի մուտքերի մոտ մեքենաների կուտակումները, կրկնաքվեարկությունը, ընտրատեղամաս զենք-զինամթերքով մուտքը և այլն։ 
Ոստիկանության պետը տեղեկացրեց, որ թերացումների դեպքում կպատժվեն ոչ միայն թերացող ծառայողները, այլև նրանց անմիջական ղեկավարները։ 

Աշխատանքային խորհրդակցության ընթացքում քննարկվեցին նաև ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության ծառայության ու մայրաքաղաքում օպերատիվ իրավիճակի հետ կապված հարցեր:
