Հայաստանի բարձրագույն, նախնական (արհեստագործական) և միջին մասնագիտական ուսումնական հաստատությունների սիրիահայ ուսանողներին 2018-2019 թվականների ուսումնական տարվա ուսման վարձեր հատկացնելու նպատակով կառավարությունը պահուստային ֆոնդից կտրամադրի 13 մլն 762.6 հազար դրամ: Այդ մասին որոշման նախագիծն ընդգրկված է կառավարության դեկտեմբերի 13-ի նիստի օրակարգում:

Ըստ հիմնավորման, 2018 թվականին ուսման վարձի փոխհատուցման կարիք ունի 293 սիրիահայ ուսանող: Նրանցից 246 սիրիահայ ուսանողի ուսման վարձի վճարումները կատարվում են հետևյալ կերպ՝ ուսման վարձի 50%-ը վճարվում է ուսանողի կողմից, 50%-ը «Գալուստ Կիւլպէնկեան» հիմնարկության, Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միության և Լոնդոնի Սուրբ Սարգիս բարեգործական հիմնադրամի միջոցների հաշվին, 47 սիրիահայ ուսանողի ուսման վարձի 50%-ը վճարվում է ուսանողի կողմից, իսկ 50%-ը առաջարկվում է վճարել պետական բյուջեի միջոցների հաշվին, որը կազմում է 13 մլն 762.6 հազար դրամ:

Սփյուռքի նախարարությունը գտնում է, որ ուսման վարձի լուծումը պետք է շարունակել, քանի որ խնդիրը մնում է սիրիահայ ընտանիքների, երիտասարդների սոցիալական, թերևս, ամենահրատապ և շարունակական լուծում պահանջող հիմնահարցերից մեկը:
