Դեկտեմբերի 10-ին Բուենոս Այրեսում ՀՀ դեսպանության հովանու ներքո տեղի ունեցավ ՄԱԿ-ի մանկական հիմնադրամի (UNICEF) և Արգենտինայի Հայաստան համահայկական հիմնադրամի կողմից կազմակերպված բարեգործական ընթրիքը, որը նպատակաուղղված էր Հայաստանում Սպիտակի երկրաշարժի աղետի գոտու վերականգնման ծրագրերի համար միջոցների հավաքագրմանը: Միջոցառմանը ներկա էին Արգենտինայի Պատգամավորների պալատի նախագահ Էմիլիո Մոնսոն (Emilio Monzó), Արգենտինա-Հայաստան պատգամավորների բարեկամության խմբի նախագահ Վալդո Վոլֆը (Waldo Wolff), «Կորպորասիոն Ամերիկա» ընկերության նախագահ Էդուարդո Էուռնեկյանը, արգենտինահայ համայանքի ներկայացուցիչներ և բարերարներ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ԱԳՆ տեղեկատվության եւ հանրային դիվանագիտության վարչությունից,  իր ելույթում անդրադառնալով UNICEF-ի և Հայաստանի միջև համագործակցության պատմությանը՝ Արգենտինայում ՀՀ դեսպան Էսթերա Մկրտումյանը նշեց․ «ՄԱԿ-ի մանկական հիմնադրամը գործունեություն է ծավալում Հայաստանում 1994 թվականից, երբ էներգետիկ ճգնաժամը և տնտեսության անկումը մեծ դժվարություններ էին ստեղծել ժողովրդի համար և մարդասիրական օգնությունն ավելի քան հրատապ էր։ Ավելի քան երկու տասնամյակ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը և UNICEF-ը ռազմավարական նշանակության ոլորտներում լայնածավալ գործունեություն են իրականացնում։ ՀՀ կողմից երեխաների իրավունքների, մայրության և մանկության պաշտպանության վերաբերյալ կոնվենցիաների վավերացումը, ոլորտին առնչվող ՀՀ օրենսդրության ներդաշնակեցումը միջազգային չափանիշերին, կրթության և առողջապահության ոլորտներում իրականացված բազմաթիվ բարեփոխումներն ու ծրագրերն այս համագործակցության վառ ապացույցն են»։

ՀՀ դեսպանը տեղեկացրեց նաև, որ 2018 թվականի հոկտեմբերին Արգենտինայում ՀՀ դեսպանությունում Հայաստան համահայկական հիմնադրամի և UNICEF-ի արգենտինյան գրասենյակների միջև կնքվել է համաձայնագիր` Հայաստանում UNICEF-ի կողմից իրականացվող ծրագրերին աջակցելու նպատակով։

Ելույթներով հանդես եկան Հայաստան համահայկական հիմնադրամի արգենտինյան մասնաճյուղի նախագահ Ալեխանդրո Կալպակյանը և UNICEF-ի արգենտինյան գրասենյակի ներկայացուցիչ Անա դե Մենդոսան (Ana de Mendoza), ովքեր կարևորեցին կազմակերպության ռազմավարական ծրագրերի իրականացման գործում Արգենտինայում հայազգի բարերարների մասնակցությունը, հույս հայտնելով, որ այս ձևաչափը լավագույնս կնպաստի Հայաստանում երեխաների պաշտպանության ոլորտում ծրագրերի շրջանակի ընդլայնմանը և բարեհաջող իրականացմանը:

Միջոցառման արդյունքում կատարված նվիրաբերությունների գումարը կազմել է մոտ 265․000 ԱՄՆ դոլար, որը մասնավորապես կուղղվի Հայաստանում Սպիտակի երկրաշարժի աղետի գոտու վերականգնման ծրագրերի իրականացմանը:
