Փետրվարի 4-ին, Ավստրալիա կատարած հովվապետական այցի շրջանակներում Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք եւ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը շքախմբի ուղեկցությամբ այցելել է Սիդնեյի Սուրբ Աստվածածին կաթոլիկ Մայր Տաճար: Այս տաճարում Հայոց Ցեղասպանության 100-ամյակի առիթով Սուրբ Պատարագ է մատուցել Գերաշնորհ Տ. Հայկազուն եպիսկոպոս Նաջարյանը` ներկայությամբ շուրջ 2000 հավատացյալների եւ հանդիսապետությամբ Սիդնեյի Կաթոլիկ թեմի առաջնորդ Բարձրաշնորհ Տեր Էնթոնի արքեպիսկոպոս Ֆիշըրի:

Առաջնորդարանում Վեհափառ Հայրապետին ողջունել են Մայր Տաճարի լուսարարապետ Հայր Դոն Րիչըրդսոնը եւ օգնական եպիսկոպոս Րիչըրդ Ամբըրզը:

Կատարվել է շրջապտույտ, Հայոց Հայրապետին ներկայացվել է ազգային ժառանգություն նկատվող տաճարի երկհարյուրամյա պատմությունը:

Շրջապտույտի ընթացքում Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետն աղոթք է բարձրացրել  տաճարի մուտքին 2018 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 18-ին հայոց մեծ բարեկամ Բարձրաշնորհ Տեր Էնթոնի արքեպիսկոպոս Ֆիշըրի ջանքերով եւ տեր եւ տիկին Ստեփան եւ Հիլդա Գրքաշարյանների նվիրատվությամբ զետեղված հայկական խաչքարի առջեւ` նվիրված Հայոց Ցեղասպանության հիշատակին:

Այցի առիթով Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը հարցազրույց է տվել Սիդնեյի Կաթոլիկ առաջնորդարանի «Catholic Weekly» թերթին: Այնուհետեւ հայրապետական շքախմբի անդամների, թեմական եւ ծխական մարմինների անդամների եւ ազգային բարերարներ տեր եւ տիկին Հայկ եւ Էլզա Դիդիզյանների ներկայությամբ տեղի է ունեցել նվերների փոխանակում: Լուսարարապետին ընծայվել է Սուրբ Էջմիածնի եւ Արարատի մանրանկար, իսկ օգնական եպիսկոպոսին` Սուրբ Ծննդյան պատկեր:
