Արցախի Հանրապետության նախկին վարչապետ, Արցախի նախագահի հատուկ հանձնարարությունների գծով խորհրդական Արայիկ Հարությունյանը Արցախի զարգացման տեսլականը համարում է առաջիկա տասը տարիներին ոչ պակաս, քան 8 տոկոս տնտեսական աճի ապահովումը: Հարությունյանն այս մասին հայտարարեց Հայաստանի պետական տնտեսագիտական համալսարանում «Արցախի տնտեսական հեռանկարները և զարգացման տեսլականը» թեմայով դասախոսության ժամանակ: «Արցախում տնտեսական աճն ապահովող ոլորտներն են՝ էներգետիկան, գյուղատնտեսությունը, ծառայությունների  ոլորտը, և այլն: Արցախն արդեն ինքնաբավ է էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտադրությամբ: Էներգետիկան Արցախում ապահովում է 1000-ից ավել աշխատատեղ, միլիարդների հասնող եկամուտներ:  Սպառողական զամբյուղի ապրանքների գերակշիռ մասով մենք ևս  դարձել ենք ինքնաբավ: Դա վերաբերվում է բոլոր ապրանքատեսակներին,  բացի շաքարավազից և կարտոֆիլից, քանի որ շաքարավազի արտադրություն դեռ Ղարաբաղում չկա, իսկ կարտոֆիլով Ղարաբաղն ինքնաբավ չէ, քանի որ Հայաստանում շատ ավելի էժան և շատ ավելի որակով է արտադրվում»,-ասաց նա:

Հարությունյանը նշեց, որ Արցախում գյուղատնտեսությունը տնտեսական աճն ապահովող հիմնական ուղղություններից է լինելու: «Մեզ վերջին տարիներին հաջողվել է մոնոկուլտուրայից տեղափոխվել արդեն ավելի արժեքավոր կուլտուրաներ և ապահովել ցանքաշրջանառությունը:Ունենք դեռ տասնյակ հազարավոր չմշակված հողեր Արցախում: Մենք  նռան արտադրությունը դիտարկում ենք որպես ռազմավարական, քանի որ  նռան արտադրությունը մեզ մոտ ունի մրցակցային առավելություն»,-հավելեց նա:

Անդրադառնալով անասնապահության ոլորտին, Արցախի նախկին վարչապետն ընդգծեց, որ անասնապահության առումով ևս զարգացման լուրջ հնարավորություն կա: «Դա Հայաստանի շուկան է, քանի որ Հայաստանը ներկրում է տարեկան տասնյակ հազար տոննա միս»,-նշեց նա:

Արայիկ Հարությունյանը տեղեկացրեց նաև, որ դիտարկվում է Ստեփանակերտ-Շուշի ճոպանուղու ծրագիր, որի նախագիծը կա, 15-17 միլիոն դոլարի ներդրում է պահանջում: «Դրա ուղղությամբ առաջիկայում աշխատելու ենք: Կարևոր է նաև ենթակառուցվածքների ավելացումը:»,-ասաց բանախոսը,  հերքելով այն խոսակցությունները, որ Արցախում արտագաղթ է: «Արտագաղթ ևս կա, բայց Արցախի բնակչությունը ամեն տարի ավելանում է  1000-1200 բնակչով»,-ընդգծեց նախկին վարչապետը:
