Այս շաբաթվա տեղեկատվական «բուումերի» շարքում կարելի է առանձնացնել Մյունխենյան անվտանգության համաժողովին ժամանակ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի և ԱՄՆ նախկին փոխնախագահ Ջո Բայդենի «միջանցքային» հանդիպումը: Արդեն որերորդ օրն է ՀՀ նախագահի անունը չի իջնում ամերիկյան առաջատար լրատվամիջոցների գլխագրերից: Նշենք, որ Սարգսյանը մամուլի ուշադրության կենտրոնում հայտնվեց Բայդենի հետ Մյունխենում կարճատև  հանդիպման պատճառով, որի ընթացքում ոտքի վրա տեղի էր ունեցել «մինի» երկխոսություն: Ինտրիգային էր այն, որ այդ կարճ դիալոգի ժամանակ Հայաստանի նախագահը հնչեցրել է ԱՄՆ ներքաղաքական կյանքի ամենաառանցքային հարցերից մեկը՝ առաջադրվելո՞ւ է դեմոկրատ Բայդենը 2020-ի ընտրություններում: Բայդենը, որ մինչ այդ բարձրաձայն ծիծաղում ու կատակում էր, փոխում է խոսակցության տոնայնությունն ու պատասխանում համարյա անսլելի ձայնով, ընդգծենք, որ Սարգսյանի արձագանքը ևս լսելի չէ: Երկու գործիչները միանգամից սկսում են խոսել շշուկով՝ ավելի բորբոքելով լրատվամիջոցների հետաքրքրությունը:

Ի դեպ, հեռանալիս ԱՄՆ նախկին փոխնախագահը Սարգսյանին է փոխանցում իր այցեքարտը: Այս ամենի մեջ ամենահետաքրքիրը  CNN-ի մեկնաբանությունն էր, ըստ որի՝ «Միջազգային առաջնորդը Բայդենին բերեց ուշադրության կենտրոն»:

Բայդենին ծանոթ մարդիկ ասում են, որ ըստ ամենայնի, ամեն ինչ հուշում է, որ նա պատրաստվում է մտնել ընտրապայքարի մեջ: Այդուամենայնիվ, պետք է զգուշավոր լինել այս հարցում, քանի որ պաշտոնապես, դեռ նման հայտարարություն չի եղել»:

Նշենք, որ 77-ամյա Բայդենը երկու տարի առաջ է հայտարարել, որ չի բացառում մասնակցությունը 2020-ի ընտրություններում, թեև պաշտոնապես այդ մտադրությունը չի հաստատել: Անցած շաբաթ, ելույթ ունենալով Մյունխենի անվտանգությանը նվիրված միջազգային համաժողովում, Բայդենը քննադատել էր Սպիտակ տան քաղաքականությունը՝ անգամ առանց նախագահ Թրամփի անունը հնչեցնելու:
