ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այսօր՝ մարտի 4-ին, այցելել է Բելգիայի Ֆլանդրիայի տարածաշրջանի Լյովեն քաղաք, որը համարվում է Բելգիայի համալսարանական կենտրոններից մեկը:

Նա Լյովեն քաղաքի համալսարանում իր խոսքում, մասնավորապես, ասել է․ «Այժմ Հայաստանում մենք սկսել ենք մեծ քաղաքական եւ տնտեսական փոփոխությունների գործընթաց, եւ մեզ համար կարեւորագույն հարց է կրթությունը՝ մենք դա համարում ենք դրական, ժողովրդավարական փոփոխությունների առանցքային հենասյուն:

Այժմ մենք ցանկանում ենք շարունակել մեր ժողովրդավարական հեղափոխությունը այն վերածել տնտեսական հեղափոխության, եւ այդ առումով մեզ համար շատ կարեւոր է իրական փոփոխությունների հասնել կրթության ոլորտում:

Ձեր համալսարանի փորձը, եւ նմանօրինակ այլ համալսարանների փորձը մեզ համար շար կարեւոր է: Շնորհակալ եմ Ձեր փորձը մեզ հետ կիսելու պատրաստակամության համար: Իհարկե, Հայաստանը մի երկիր է, որը մեծ ավանդույթներ ունի կրթության ոլորտում․ դեռ 11-րդ դարում Հայաստանում երկու համալսարանական կենտրոններ են հիմնադրվել»:

Նշենք, որ փոխըմբռնման հուշագրեր են ստորագրվել ՀՀ կրթության եւ գիտության նախարարության եւ Ֆլանդրիայի արտաքին գործերի դեպարտամենտի, ինչպես նաեւ «IMEC» գիտահետազոտական կենտրոնի եւ «Ձեռնարկությունների ինկուբատոր հիմնադրամի» միջեւ:

Ավելի վաղ NEWS.am-ը հայտնել էր, որ Փաշինյանի այս այցի շրջանակում Հայաստանի վարչապետը Բրյուսելում բարձր մակարդակի հանդիպումներ կունենա Եվրոպական միության կառույցների ղեկավարների՝ Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Դոնալդ Տուսկի, Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ժան-Կլոդ Յունկերի, ինչպես նաեւ Եվրոպական միության արտաքին հարաբերությունների եւ անվտանգության քաղաքականության հարցերով Բարձր ներկայացուցիչ, Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի փոխնախագահ Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինիի հետ:

Հանդիպումներից հետո Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը եւ Դոնալդ Տուսկը լրատվամիջոցների առջեւ հանդես կգան հայտարարությամբ, իսկ Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի նախագահի հետ վարչապետը կունենա համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիս:

Փաշինյանը ելույթ է ունենալու Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովում:
