Վերջին շրջանում ակնհայտ կերպով Արցախում նախընտրական զարգացումների լուրջ շարժ է նկատվում: Ինչպես հայտնի է Արցախում ընտրությունները տեղի են ունեալու մեկ տարուց, սակայն ներարցախյան քաղաքական արենայում սկսվել են կոնկրետ դիրքավորումներն ու վերադասավորումները:

Նշենք, որ ընտրություններին մասնակցելու և նախագահի թեկնածության համար հայտ են ներկայացրել  ԱԽ քարտուղար Վիտալի Բալասանյանը և Արցախի նախկին վարչապետ Արայիկ Հարությունյանը, ով, ըստ տեղեկությունների, վայելում է ՀՀ իշխանությունների համակրանքը:

Վերջին շրջանում բավականին ակտիվացել է նաև ՊԲ նախկին նախարար Սամվել Բաբայանը, ով չնայած առաջադրման համար ունի իրավական արգելք, քանի որ, նա 2007-ին տեղի ունեցած խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին մասնակցելու համար (Բաբայանը հիմնել էր «Դաշինք» կուսակցությունը) դուրս էր եկել հաշվառումից, իսկ վերջին տարիներին ապրում էր Երևանում, սակայն այս ամենը հաշվի չառնելով քաղաքական լուրջ քննարկումներ է անցկացնում:  

Հետաքրքրական է այն հանգամանքը, որ հասկանալով, որ Հայաստանից որոշակի համակրանք վայելող թեկնածուն, գոնե այս փուլում, Արայիկ Հարությունյանն է, Սամվել Բաբայանը դիրքավորվել է հակառակ բևեռում և իր քարոզարշավը տանում է հակափաշինյանական շեշտադրումներով և քննադատական տոնայնության մեջ: Մասնավորապես՝ վերջինս տարբեր հանդիպումների ժամանակ անընդհատ նշում է, որ հենց ինքն է այն անհատը, կամ իր բառերով՝ «միակ տղան», ով կարող է կանգնեցնել Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, որ ինքն է այն «միակ տղան», ում Փաշինյանը չի կարող ասել, թե ինչ անի՝ եթե անգամ ինքը լինի Արցախի նախագահի կարգավիճակում: Ավելին, վերջինս անընդհատ նշում է, որ ամեն ինչ անելու է Նիկոլի ազդեցությունն Արցախում լիակատար կերպով կասեցնելու համար՝ ըստ էությամբ ակնարկելով, որ իր հաղթանակը Ա.Հարությունյանի նկատմամբ լուծելու է նաև այդ հարցի կարգավորումը:

Ամփոփելով ընդգծենք, որ վերջին շրջանում անընդհատ քննարկվող հողեր հանձնելու թեզի հետ կապված Բաբայանն իր հարցազրույցներից մեկում ասել է, որ ինքը միակ մարդն է, ով կարող է ՀՀ ճնշումներին տեղիք չտալ և լիարժեքորեն պահպանել այն հողերը, որոնք 90-ականներին ձեռք է բերվել:
