Ռուսական գազը Հայաստան փոխադրելու համար «Գազպրոմ»-ի կողմից Վրաստանին տարանցման համար վճարվող սակագինը բարձրացել է: Այդ մասին հայտարարել է Վրաստանի էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Նատիա Տուրնավան:

««Գազպրոմ»-ի հետ բանակցություններն ավարտվել են հաջողությամբ և շուտով Վրաստանը կձևակերպի համաձայնագիրը ռուսական պետական գազային ընկերության հետ: Վրաստանը բարելավել է դիրքերը ռուսական ընկերության նկատմամբ: Տրանզիտի գինը, որը Ռուսաստանը մեզ վճարում է, բարձրացել է, իսկ ռուսական գազի գինը նվազեցվել: Դա այն դեպքում, երբ որևէ մասնավոր բիզնես հետաքրքրվի այլընտրանքով»,- ինչպես փոխանցում Է  apsny.ge-ն, ասել է Տուրնավան:

Նախքան 2017 թվականը Վրաստանը ռուսական գազի փոխադրման համար ստանում էր տեղափոխված ծավալի 10%-ը: Ավելի ուշ Վրաստանը հրաժարվել էր ռուսական գազից և վճարումը ստանում էր գումարային տեսքով:
