97 տարեկան հասակում մահացել Է Էնդի Մարշալը, որը 40 տարուց ավելի աշխատել Է Պենտագոնի Ծրագրերի համակողմանի գնահատման վարչությունում եւ որը ենթադրաբար Չինաստանում Է ստացել պաշտպանության նախարարության «մագիստր Յոդա» մականունն ի պատիվ «Աստղային պատերազմների» գործող անձի: Մարտի 26-ին այդ մասին հայտնել Է ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսի ստորին պալատի զինված ուժերի գործերի կոմիտեի անդամ Մաքա Թրոնբերին (հանրապետական Տեխասի նահանգից):

«Ես դժվարությամբ կարող եմ պատկերացնել մարդու, որը նույն կերպ կենտրոնացներ իր բոլոր ջանքերը պաշտպանական գերատեսչության առաջադրանքների կատարման վրա, ինչպես նաեւ (ԱՄՆ-ի) ազգային անվտանգության ապահովման համար, ինչպես դա անում Էր Մարշալը»,- մեջբերում Է անում Defence News շաբաթաթերթը կոմիտեում կայացած ունկնդրումների ժամանակ նրա ունեցած ելույթից:

Էնդի Մարշալն ԱՄՆ-ի պաշտպանության նախարարության Ծրագրերի համակողմանի գնահատման վարչությունը, որն անկախ կազմակերպություն Է եւ հետեւում Է պետության ազգային անվտանգության համար սպառնալիքների հայտնվելուն, ղեկավարել Է ավելի քան 40 տարի՝ մինչեւ 2015 թվականը, երբ լրացավ նրա 93 տարին: Նրան փոխարինել Է Ջեյմս Բեյքերը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը:
