Չինաստանը տեխնոլոգիական ոլորտում աննախադեպ զիջումներ Է արել ԱՄՆ-ին մի ամբողջ շարք հարցերի շուրջը, ներառյալ նահանջը ՉԺՀ-ում աշխատող ամերիկյան ընկերություններին տեխնոլոգիաները հանձնելու հարկադրումից, որպեսզի արագացնի առեւտրի շուրջը բանակցությունների ընթացքը: 

Աղբյուրներից մեկի խոսքով՝ Պեկինի նոր առաջարկությունները ենթադրում են ավելի ընդգրկուն փոփոխություններ, քան այն պայմանները, որոնք ավելի վաղ շարադրվել են չինական կողմից: «Եթե նայենք մեկամսյա վաղեմության տեքստերը եւ դրանք համեմատենք այսօրվա տեքստերի հետ, ապա մենք քայլ առաջ ենք արել բոլոր ոլորտներում: Սակայն մենք տակավին չենք հասել այն ամենին, ինչ ցանկանում ենք»,- հայտարարել Է գործակալության զրուցակիցներից մեկն անունը չհայտնելու պայմանով: Ավելի վաղ տեղեկացվել Է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Չինաստանի առեւտրի վերաբերյալ գրավոր համաձայնագրի վրա աշխատանքը կատարվում Է վեց ուղղությամբ. տեխնոլոգիաների հարկադրական հանձնում եւ կիբեռանվտանգություն, մտավոր սեփականության իրավունքներ, ծառայություններ, արժույթ, գյուղատնտեսություն, ինչպես նաեւ առեւտրի ոչ տարիֆային արգելքներ, հաղորդել Է «Իներֆաքս» գործակալությունը:
