«Օրերս ֆեյսբուքում գրառում էի կատարել՝ հղում կատարելով 1996֊1998 թվականների մամուլի հաղորդագրություններին, տեսանյութերին, որոնցից ակնհայտ է դառնում, որ առերևույթ հանցագործություն է տեղի ունեցել 1996 թվականին՝ կեղծվել են նախագահական ընտրությունները։ Այժմ ցանկանում եմ նույն համատեքստում հղում կատարել ԱՄՆ Պետդեպի հաղորդագրությանը՝ կապված 1996 թվականի ընտրությունների հետ, որում նշված են այն հանգամանքները, որոնք պետք է պատշաճ ուշադրության արժանանային ներկա իշխանությունների կողմից, պետք է տրվեին այդ իրադարձությունների իրավաքաղաքական, քրեաիրավական գնահատականներն, իսկ մեղավորները պատժվեին օրենքով սահմանված կարգով, մինչդեռ ի՞նչ է ստացվում, թավշյա քայլիշխանությունը, որը պարբերաբար հրապարակներից գոչում է արդարության ու արդարադատության մասին, արդարադատության հետ աղերս չունեցող մի քննություն է սկսել մարտի 1֊ի գործով, որը լի է բազմաթիվ խայտառակ խախտումներով, ցանկանալով մեկուսացնել Նախագահ Քոչարյանին ու տեսնելով, որ «գործը ջուր է», գործի է դրել նույնիսկ իր քրեադատավարական զրպարտիչներ Սիլվա Համբարձումյանին, Վահան Շիրխանյանին ու այլ մորթապաշտների։ Միաժամանակ իշխանությունը համառ կուրությամբ չի ցանկանում նկատել 1996 թվականի խայտառակությունն ու թեկուզ հանուն պատմական ճշմարտության ու արդարության ձեռնամուխ չի լինում դրա բացահայտմանն, այսինքն ստացվում է, որ Վահան Շիրխանյանի կամ Սիլվա Համբարձումյանի հայտարարությունները թավշյա արդարադատների համար առավել կարևո՞ր են, քան ԱՄՆ Պետդեպի հաղորդագրությունը։
Իսկ միթե՞ նույն Վահան Շիրխանյանը, Գագիկ Ջհանգիրյանն ու մնացյալ այլոք, ովքեր այսօր կուրծք ծեծելով Քոչարյանի դեմ իրականացվող ապօրինություններն են արդարացնում, այն տարիներին անմիջական մասնակիցները չե՞ն եղել ընտրակեղծարարությունների, ինչու՞ է լռում ՀՔԾ֊ը, ինչու՞ վարչապետն ազնիվ չէ հանրության հետ, ինչո՞վ է պայմանավորված այս կամայական ու ապօրինի արդարադատությունը։ Այս ու մնացյալ կարևորագույն հարցերի կապակցությամբ պահանջում եմ վարչապետի պատճառաբանություններն ու գնահատականները։

Երբ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը 1998 թվականին ստանձնեց ՀՀ Նախագահի պաշտոնը, քաղաքական հետապնդումներ չիրականացրեց, հակառակը՝ բանտերից ազատ արձակեց քաղբանտարկյալներին ու բռնեց հանդուրժողականության ուղեծիրը՝ փորձելով գործի դնել ոչ թե պատժիչ մեխանիզմն, այլ միասնականության, պետականամետության ճանապարհով զարգացնել երկիրն, իսկ գուցե այնժամ պետք էր《չներե՞լ》վերոհիշյալ պետականախույս ուժերին, որպեսզի վերջիններս շուրջ քսան տարի անց իրավական վայնասուն չբարձրացնեին՝ փորձելով հիշեցնել չեղածն ու մոռացության մատնելով այն, ինչ եղել է։

Ամեն դեպքում մերօրյա իշխանությունը, որն ազդարարելով սիրո ու հանդուրժողականության հեղափոխության հաղթանակը ձեռնամուխ եղավ Քոչարյանի նկատմամբ իրավաքաղաքական փաստազուրկ հետապնդման, մինչդեռ նախևառաջ պարտավոր է քննության առարկա դարձնել այն, ինչ տեղի է ունեցել 1996 թվականին՝ հաշվի առնելով թե՛ համացանցում առկա բազմաթիվ փաստերը, թե՛ ԱՄՆ Պետդեպի հաղորդագրությունը տոտալ կեղծիքների վերաբերյալ»,-ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է Վահե Եփրիկյանը։
