Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա կաթողիկոսը Հալեպում օծել է Սուրբ Քառասուն Մանկանց եկեղեցին: Արամ Ա կաթողիկոսը հայրապետական խոսք է հղել ներկաներին՝ նշելով, որ եկեղեցու օծումն ունի պատմական և խորհրդանշական նշանակություն:

«Ուրիշները փորձեցին սպանել հավատքը մեր ժողովրդի կյանքում, բայց մենք հավաքական ասացինք, որ այս հավատքում մեզ ոչ ոք չի կարող հաղթել: Մենք մեր հավաքական կերպարով ոչ ասացինք անարդարությանը և պայքարեցինք, պետք է պայքարենք՝ հանուն արդարության:

Ուրիշները ցեղասպանություն գործեցին մեր ժողովրդի դեմ, սակայն չհաջողեցին: Այսօր մեր ժողովուրդը հարություն է առել: Այսօր ունենք ազատ, անկախ Հայաստան՝ թեկուզ մեր պատմական հողերի մի փոքր հատվածի վրա: Սակայն մենք պետք է ձգտենք տեսնելու Հայաստանը մեր երազի պատկերով»,- նշել է Արամ Ա կաթողիկոսը:

 

Նա ընդգծել է, որ պետք է մեր ժողովուրդն ամեն տեղ զորավիգ լինի սիրիահայության վերականգնմանը՝ Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսության առաջնորդությամբ:

Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա կաթողիկոսը մարտի 29-ին հովվապետական այցով մեկնել է Սիրիա՝ Հալեպ:

2015 թվականի ապրիլին Հալեպի պատմական Ջդեյդե թաղամասում գտնվող, 15-րդ դարում կառուցված Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսության Բերիո թեմի առաջնորդանիստ Սրբոց Քառասնից Մանկանց մայր եկեղեցին և հարակից տարածքը ռմբակոծության հետևանքով մեծ վնասներ էին կրել: Եկեղեցին պայթեցվել էր ԻՊ կողմից՝ ներսում փորված և այնտեղ տեղադրված ռումբերի միջոցով:

Եկեղեցու վերականգնումը իրականացվել էր Հալեպի հայ համայնքի նվիրատվություններով: Առնվազն 150 հազար մարդ իր ավանդն է բերել սրբավայրի վերականգնման գործին:
