Առաջատար գիտնականների մասնակցությամբ Երևանում մեկնարկել է միջազգային տնտեսական երկօրյա գիտաժողով՝ տնտեսության և քաղաքականության արդյունավետ զարգացման մոդելավորման թեմայով: Միջազգային տնտեսական գիտաժողովի անցկացմանն աջակցում են Եվրոպական միությունը, ՀՀ կառավարությունը և Առաջատար տեխնոլոգիաների և ձեռնարկությունների միությունը: Առաջատար տեխնոլոգիաների և ձեռնարկությունների միությունից, գիտաժողովի նպատակն է ուսումնասիրել տնտեսության կայուն և արդյունավետ զարգացման հեռանկարը՝ քաղաքականության, տնտեսության և նորարարությունների պրիզմայի ներքո:  

Տնտեսական գիտաժողովի պաշտոնական մեկնարկին ողջույնի խոսքով հանդես եկան Եվրոպական Միության արտակարգ եւ լիզազոր դեսպան, ԵՄ Պատվիրակության ղեկավար  Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին, ՀՀ փոխվարչապետ Տիգրան Ավինյանը, Առաջատար տեխնոլոգիաների ձեռնարկությունների միության (ԱՏՁՄ) նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Եսայանը և ԵՄ «Աջակցություն ՓՄՁ զարգացմանը Հայաստանում» ծրագրի թիմի ղեկավար Էվա Նեհերը: Ներկա են եղել ՀՀ Ֆինանսների նախարար Ատոմ Ջանջուղազյանը, ՀՀ տնտեսական զարգացման և ներդրումների նախարար Տիգրան Խաչատրյանը, կառավարության, միջազգային կառույցների այլ ներկայացուցիչներ, փորձագետներ և այլ հյուրեր:

Միջազգային տնտեսական գիտաժողովը համանախագահում են Արտեմ Ալիխանյանի անվան ազգային գիտական լաբորատորիայի Սերգեյ Մատինյանի անվան տեսական դեպարտամենտի առաջատար գիտաշխատող Դավիթ Սահակյանը և Կիելի համալսարանի տնտեսագիտության ֆակուլտետի պրոֆեսոր Թոմաս Լուքսը: Թոմաս Լուքսը Գերմանիայի կառավարության խորհրդատու է, որը հայտնի է նաև տնտեսության զարգացման միտումների ճշգրիտ կանխատեսումներով:

Երկօրյա գիտաժողովի արդյունքում, դիտարկելով նաև Հայաստանի օրինակը, անվանի մասնագետները կքննարկեն տնտեսության զարգացման արդյունավետ ուղիները, այնուհետև համապատասխան ծրագիր կներկայացնեն կառավարությանը:

Գիտաժողովի շրջանակում դասախոսություն կկարդա Շվեյցարիայի ֆինանսական ռիսկերի թիվ մեկ փորձագետ Դիդիեր Սորնետը: Տեսակապով գիտաժողովին կմիանա ֆիզիկոս Յանիիր Բար Յամը Բոստոնից, որը Ուոլլ Սթրիթի համար մոդելավորում է տնտեսությունը և Սպիտակ տան համար՝ քաղաքականությունը:  Գիտաժողովին մասնակցում են Հայաստանի, Ռուսաստանի, Իրանի, Ֆրանսիայի, Գերմանիայի, Շվեյցարիայի, Նիդերլանդների, Իտալիայի, Իսպանիայի, Չինաստանի և ԱՄՆ-ի համալսարանների ներկայացուցիչներ, գիտական աշխատողներ և փորձագետներ:

Միջազգային տնտեսական գիտաժողովն իրականացվում է Արտեմ Ալիխանյանի անվան ազգային գիտական լաբորատորիայի կողմից՝ ՀՀ կառավարության, ԱՏՁՄ-ի և «Աջակցություն ՓՄՁ զարգացմանը Հայաստանում» ծրագրի աջակցությամբ: Միջազգային տնտեսական համաժողովի գործընկերն է «Ամերիաբանկ»-ը:
