Հայաստանյան զարգացումները վերջին շրջանում բավական հետաքրքրիր ու տարօրինակ ընթացք են ունենում և հաճախ պարզ չէ, թե ի վերջո, որտեղից է փչում քամին: Հանրության համար միանշանակ անհասկանալի է և անբացատրելի, թե ինչու հենց հիմա որոշվեց Կոստանտին Օրբելյանին ազատել օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնի տնօրենի պաշտոնից:

Այն պնդումը, թե Օրբելյանը չի տիրապետում հայոց լեզվին պրիմիտիվ է, և այս հարցը բարձրաձայնող բարձրաձայնող տիկինը գուցե օտար ականջով չի լսել իր խոսքը, այլապես նման հայտարարություն անելուց առաջ կզգար՝ մայրենիին առանձնապես ինքն էլ չի տիրապետում, արտահայտած մտքերը մեկը մյուսի հետ չեն կապակցվում, խոսքը գրագետ չէ, իսկ շարահյուսական ու ոճաբանական ակնհայտ սխալների մասին բանասերները կվկայեն:

Ստացվում է այնպես, որ մաեստրո Օրբելյանին Օպերային թատրոնի տնօրենի պաշտոնից ազատելու հրաման է ստորագրում մի պաշտոնյա, որ վարչապետին ուղարկված փաստաթղթին սևագիր բնութագիրն է տալիս, պատրաստվում թատրոն լուծարելու՝ առանց իմանալու, որ դրա համար շենք է կառուցվում, ավելին՝ մշակութային օջախի հիմնարկեքի ժամանակ փորձում հոգևոր մեջբերումներ անել ու հայտնվում ծիծաղելի վիճակի մեջ և նմանօրինակ մառազմ քայլեր:

Իրականում, եթե անգամ հայերենին տիրապետելն օրենքի պահանջ է, ու Օրբելյանի՝ տնօրեն լինելու հանգամանքը խախտում է որակվում, ապա միանշանակ կարող ենք փաստել՝ օրենքն է անկատար, քանի որ այն չիրացնելուց ոչ թե տուժել, այլ շահել է երկրի մշակույթը:

Փաստն այն է, որ օպերային թատրոնում չարաշահումներ չեն հայտնաբերվել, փողերի լվացման դեպքեր չեն եղել, կոլեկտիվը ստեղծագործական բուռն կյանքով է ապրում, հետևաբար ի՞նչ էր արել Օրբելյանը, որ իշխանությունները որոշել են նեղացնել նրան: Երևի զուտ այն պատճառով, որ երաժշտագետների ընտանիքից սերող համաշխարհային ճանաչմամբ դիրիժորին Հայաստան էին հրավիրել նախորդ իշխանությունները: Կամ էլ գիտակցելով, որ Օպերայի դահլիճում կուսակցական «դմփ-դմփ-հու» անելուն Օրբելյանը դեմ կլիներ:

Հայաստանը միջազգային տարբեր հարթակներում պատվով ներկայացրած մեծությանը, ցավալիորեն, այսկերպ ենք գնահատում, նրա վաստակը նսեմացնում «Օպերան իր հորանց տունը» չէ ճղճիմ արտահայտությամբ, օպերային թատրոնի որևէ ներկայացման պրեմիերային ներկա չլինելով՝ արհամարհում ստեղծագործական մի ողջ կոլեկտիվ, փոխարենն անաղարտ հայերենին չտիրապետելու մասին արտահայտվում ջարդված ու կցմցված բառապաշարով: Թատրոնի շուրջ կրքերը բորբոքել ու ապշեցրել են նույնիսկ օպերային արվեստի աշխարհահռչակ դեմքերի:
