«Երկրապահ կամավորականների միություն» հասրակական կազմակերպության 12-րդ արտահերթ համագումարում վարչության նախագահի պաշտոնում առաջադրվեց «Սասուն» կամավորական ջոկատի հրամանատար, ԱԺ պատգամավոր Սասուն Միքայելյանի թեկնածությունը: Միքայելյանի թեկնածությունն այս պաշտոնում առաջադրելը ԵԿՄ միասնական որոշումն է:

«Երկրապահը կարող է և պարտավոր է վերադառնալ իր ակունքներին, և վերականգնել իր տեղն ու դերը հայոց բանակի հզորացման, մեր պետականության ամրապնդման, Արցախի Հանրապետության անվտանգության ապահովման և մեր համազգային նպատակների իրականացման գործում: Դա է այսօրվա հրամայականը, մեր սուրբ պարտականությունը մեր նահատակված ընկերների առաջ, և, վերջապես, դա է ԵԿՄ հավերժ նախագահ, սպարապետ Վազգեն Սարգսյանի պատգամը մեզ: Մենք այսօր այստեղ ենք ոչ թե տիտղոսներ վերցնելու, այլ մեր սխալներն ուղղելու»,- ասաց Միքայելյանը:

Փետրվարի 11-ին ԵԿՄ-ում տեղի ունեցած հավաքի անդամները միաձայն որոշել ենպատրաստվել արտահերթ համագումարի՝ ԵԿՄ ղեկավարի պաշտոնում առաջադրելով«Սասուն» կամավորական ջոկատի հրամանատար, ԱԺ պատգամավոր Սասուն Միքայելյանիթեկնածությունը:

ԵԿՄ անդամ, Վազգեն Սարգսյանի եղբայր Արամ Սարգսյանը, Երկրապահ կամավորականների միությունում իր առաքելությունն այս փուլում համարելով ավարտված, նշել է, որ ԵԿՄ-ն այսօր բացառիկ հնարավորություն ունի համախմբվելու: Նա նաև բացառել է ԵԿՄ ղեկավարի դերումիրառաջադրումը:

Երկրապահ կամավորականնների միության անդամները 2018թ. հունիսի 21-ին որոշում էինկայացրել կասեցնել միության վարչության նախագահ Մանվել Գրիգորյանի լիազորությունները:
