Հայաստանի հավաքականի եւ Լոնդոնի «Արսենալի» կիսապաշտպան Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը Շիրակի մարզի Սպանդարյան համայնքում բացել է հոր՝ Երեւանի «Արարատի» նախկին խաղացող, լուսահոգի Համլետ Մխիթարյանի անվան ֆուտբոլային մարզադաշտ։ Նախաձեռնողը ԱԺ նախկին պատգամավոր Սամվել Ֆարմանյանն է, որի ծննդավայրն է Սպանդարյանը։ 

«Շատ շնորհակալ եմ բոլորին, շնորհակալ եմ, որ հիշում եք հորս եւ նրա խաղը։ Հույս ունեմ, որ այստեղ կլինեն պրոֆեսիոնալ հանդիպումներ, եւ մարզը կլինի սպորտային։ Կարծում եմ՝ այս մարզադաշտից լավ ֆուտբոլիստներ դուրս կգան»,- ասաց Մխիթարյանը։

Սպանդարյան համայնքի ղեկավար Ավետիք Մխիթարյանը նշեց, որ մարզադաշտի բացումը հատուկ են այսօր ընտրել․

«Քանի որ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը Հայաստանում է եւ ցանկություն է ունեցել ներկա գտնվել, որոշեցինք այսօր անել մարզադաշտի բացումը»։

Համայնքի ղեկավարը ներկայացրեց, թե ինչ աշխատանքներ են արվել մարզադաշտում․ «Կատարվել են խոտածածկոի, ցանցապատման եւ հանդերձարանի կառուցման աշխատանքներ»։

ԱԺ նախկին պատգամավոր Սամվել Ֆարմանյանի խոսքով՝ այս մարզադաշտը գուցե աշխարհի համար մեծ իրադարձություն չէ, սակայն հնարավորություն կտա համայնքի երեխաներին ավելի մեծ ոգեւորությամբ մարզվել։

«Այսօր ամենամեծ ուղերձն այն է, որ համայնքում բոլորը հիշում են Համլետ Մխիթարյանի ցուցադրած խաղը։ Սիրելի երեխաներ, ես ուզում եմ, որ դուք նույպիսի հաջողությունների հասնեք, ինչպիսի հաջողության հասել է Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը, որ այսօր որպես ամբողջ աշխարհում մեր ժողովրդի իսկական դեսպան, լավագույնս ներկայացնում է Հայաստանը»,- ասաց Ֆարմանյանը։

Մարզադաշտը վերանորոգվել է պետական բյուջեի միջոցներով, ծախսվել է 37 միլիոն դրամ։
