Օրերս Դոնալդ Թրամփը Թերեզա Մեյի հետ համատեղ ասուլիսում Բրիտանիային խոստացել է ֆենոմենալ առևտրային պայմանագիր ԵՄ-ից դուրս գալուց հետո:

Թրամփն ու Մեյը քննարկել են համագործակցությունը չինական Huawei ընկերության հետ և հաստատել երկկողմ հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու պատրաստակամությունը: «Քանի դեռ Բրիտանիան պատրաստվում է ԵՄ-ից դուրս գալուն, ԱՄՆ-ը ցանկանում է Միացյալ Թագավորությանն հետ կնքել ֆենոմենալ առևտրային համաձայնագիր»՝ հայտարարել է Թրամփը: Բրեկզիտի մասին հարցին նա պատասխանել է, որ այն պետք է: Մեյն իր հերթին տեղեկացրել է, որ քննարկել են ոչ միայն իրենց փոխհարաբերությունները, այլև՝ տարաձայնությունները՝ բրիտանական կառավարության համագործակցությունը չինական Huawei ընկերության հետ, որ դուր չի գալիս ԱՄՆ-ին, վերաբերմունքը մոլորակի կլիմայական փոփոխություններին: Թրամփն անդրադարձել է Մեյի իրավահաջորդին: Նա հիշատակել է նախկին ԱԳնախարար Բորիս Ջոնսոնի ու ԱԳնախարար Ջերեմի Հանթի անունները, ասել, որ երկուսին էլ ճանաչում է ու գտում է, որ երկուսն էլ կարողեն լավ աշխատել:

Իր խոսքում Թրամփը նաև նշել է, որ Լեյբորիստների նախագահ Ջերեմի Կորբինը հանդիպում է խնդրե լու մերժում ստացել: Դա հաստատել են և Լեյբորիստական կուսակցությունում՝ հավելելով, որ Կորբինը պատրաստ է ԱՄՆ նախագահին հանդիպել: Huawei-ի հետ համագործակցության մասին Թրամփն ասել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ը չի ծրագրում սահմանափակել Բրիտանիայի համար ԱՄՆ հետախուզության տվյալների հասանելիությունը համաձայնագրի շրջանակներում՝ չինական ընկերության հետ համագործակցության պատճառով: Թրամփը վստահ է, որ Բրիտանիան ու ԱՄՆ-ն այդ հարցում համաձայնության կգան: Տարաձայնություններ հարուցած ևս մեկ հարց է ԱՄՆ ընկերությունների մուտքի սահմանափակումն առողջապահության բրիտանական պետական համակարգ: ԱՄՆ-ում շատ ընկերություններ ցանկանում են փայատեր դառնալ ու պետական պայմանագրեր ստանալ Բրիտանիայում, բայց բրիտանացի քաղաքական գործիչները դեմ են: Այս ահրցի հետ կապված Թրամփն ասել է, որ այն կարող է մաս դառնալ առևտրական համաձայնագրի, բայց Մեյն առարկել է, որ այդ հարցերը դեռ պետք է քննարկել:

Ի դեպ նշենք, որ Լոնդոնի կենտրոնում ցույց էին անում Թրամփի այցի դեմ: Ցույցեր են ծրագրված եղել նաև մյուս քաղաքներում: Ցուցարարները նորից երկինք են բարձրացրել «բեբի Թրամփ» փուչիկը, որով ողջունել էին նրան Լոնդոն առաջին այցի ժամանակ:
